Given information: Given relation as shown in the below graph under the topic, “Dog walking”
Concept used: In any graph, dependent variable is represented on vertical y axis and independent variable is represented on horizontal x axis.
Calculation: Values on x axis, represent number of dogs walked and the values of y axis, represent amount earned (in dollars) by walking these dogs. So, given graph shows that as the number of dog walked increase, the amount earned also increase simultaneously.
Conclusion: So, in above relation, independent variable is “Number of dogs walked.” and dependent variable will be, “total amount earned in dollars”.
