Concept introduction:

Silicate is a family member of anions which consist of silicon and oxygen.They are mostly large polymeric molecules including chains and rings, double chains and sheets. Silicate generally comprises of earth's crust materials and other terrestrial planets, asteroids, androcky moons.

Silicates are most important for both, natural and artificial types of technological activities.
