Introduction:

The brain is divided into left and right hemispheres by medial longitudinal fissure. Both the hemispheres have various neuronal networks to control various functions of the body. The difference in the types and arrangement of neuronal network leads to specialized functions of each hemisphere. This phenomenon is called as lateralization of brain function.
