Interpretation Introduction

Interpretation:

The carbon content in hypo-eutectoid and hyper-eutectoid steel samples needs to be estimated.

Concept Introduction:

A hypo-eutectoid phase is a stage in which the element quantity is lower than the eutectoid stage in the same element. Similarly, a hyper-eutectoid phase is a stage in which the element quantity is more than the eutectoid steel and contains less than $0.9\%$ carbon, whereas hypereutectoid steel comprises of more than $0.9\%$ carbon.
