Introduction:

The task of learning anatomical terminology seems overwhelming at first, but there is a simple habit that can quickly be made comfortable with the technical language of medicine which explain the roots and origins of the words. People who find scientific terms confusing and hard to pronounce, spell and generally remember how terms are composed to feel more comfortable. Normally, a scientific term is composed of three common word element- root, prefix, and suffix.
