Introduction:

The early scientific investigation began in Greece and Rome. Greek and Roman scholars coined many of the words which are in use in human anatomy even today. Thus, most of the anatomical terminologies used today are influenced by Greek and Latin words. Using the origins also avoids misunderstanding between words between the various countries.
