Question
Chapter 12.3, Problem 3MQ
Summary Introduction
Protein synthesis in a host organism for molecular cloning purposes may cause problems. Some proteins may be toxic to the host and protease enzymes may degrade other protein molecules. In addition, overproduction of proteins may induce protein aggression and that lead to insoluble inclusions. Through, the purification of inclusion are relatively easy, solubilizing the inclusion containing protein is difficult. Also, they can be denatured partially. The purification of protein is easy if the protein is formed as a fusion protein with carrier protein, which is encoded by a vector.
