A light wave which vibrates in more than one plane is called an unpolarized light. For example, light emitted by the sun, by the lamp are unpolarized light. These type f light waves are created by electric charges that vibrate in various directions and creates a electro-magnetic field which vibrates in many directions. These unpolarized light waves can be transformed to polarized light and this process of transforming is called polarization. In polarized light waves, the vibrations of magnetic field occur in only one direction.
