Introduction:

A repeating movement that transfers energy through space or matter is known as wave. Frequency is defined as a number of vibrations per second.

A wave consists of magnetic fields and oscillating electric that mutually induce each other, called electromagnetic waves. The frequency of electromagnetic waves is equivalent to the frequency of vibrating charge (which produces the wave). This frequency can be termed as the number of vibrations (back and forth movement) of the charge per second. As the frequency increases, the wavelength becomes smaller.
