The muscle layers of the urogenital triangle are a superficial layer and a deep layer. The muscles which make the superficial layer are bulbospongiosus, ischiocavernosus, and superficial transverse perineal. The muscles which are involved in the deep layer are deep transverse perineal and the external urethral sphincter.
