Introduction:

A total of 206 bones make up the skeleton of a human body. The bones of the hand are named as carpals, metacarpals, and phalanges. These bones are responsible for supporting as well as providing flexibility to the tissues. The carpal bones are present in the wrist, the metacarpals are found in the palm, while the phalanges constitute the fingers or digits.
