Infusionsoft conducted a study to explore the attitudes, behaviors, and challenges that small businesses face related to sales and marketing. Small business owners were categorized by the amount they spend per month on marketing activities as well as the attitudinal segment to which they belong. The results were organized into the following table.
At the 0.05 level of significance, is there evidence of a significant relationship between the amount spent per month on marketing activities and attitudinal segment?
As part of a long-term study of individuals 65 years of age or older, sociologists and physicians at the Wentworth Medical Center in upstate New York investigated the relationship between geographic location and depression. A sample of 60 individuals, all in reasonably good health, was selected; 20 individuals were residents of Florida, 20 were residents of New York, and 20 were residents of North Carolina. Each of the individuals sampled was given a standardized test to measure depression. Higher test scores indicate higher levels of depression.
A second part of the study considered the relationship between geographic location and depression for individuals 65 years of age or older who had a chronic health condition such as arthritis, hypertension, and/or heart ailment. A sample of 60 individuals with such conditions was identified. Again, 20 were residents of Florida, 20 were residents of New York, and 20 were residents of North Carolina.

- In this paper, the authors explore the outness and identity disclosure for queer and trans students of Color in college context. Their data came from an online survey that was distributed via email and social media, targeting college graduates who were LGBTQ. For this Paper, their analysis focused on students of Color. The full study involves quantitative analysis as well as qualitative analysis of the narrative data from participants. The focus of the ANOVA analysis was to determine if there were differences in levels of outness between the various racial identities among queer and trans students of color. in the qualitative analysis the authors seek to understand those differences and the social and institutional conditions that surround decisions about gender and sexual identity disclosure for students of color. the researchers here were trying to address the following question with their analysis: Where there significant differences in levels out outness between students of Color…arrow_forwardA recent study randomly selected women from various countries around the world and collected information about diet and health. Gender stereotypes might have affected girls' relative academic performance on math and sciences such that in a country where gender stereotypes are stronger, girls perform more poorly on math and sciences compared with boys. O b. Girls' relative academic performances on math and sciences can be attributable to gender stereotypes of the country.
