Summary Introduction
To analyze:
The functional differences between multiunit and unitary smooth muscle.
Introduction:
There are two functional categories of smooth muscle called multiunit and single-unit types.Single type muscle fibers are closely joined together. They act as a same unit. Multiunit muscle fibers are not closely joined together. They act as different units.
