(Attributes of Hybrid Vehicles) In this chapter you learned the basics of classes. Now you’ll begin “fleshing out” aspects of a class called “Hybrid Vehicle.” Hybrid vehicles are becoming increasingly popular, because they often get much better mileage than purely gasoline-powered vehicles. Browse the web and study the features of four or five of today’s popular hybrid cars, then list as many of their hybrid-related attributes as you can. For example, common attributes include city-miles-per-gallon and highway-miles-per-gallon. Also list the attributes of the batteries (type, weight, etc.).

- Description: In a hypothetical class, students take two midterms and an optional final. If a student takes the final and gets in it a better score than the lowest of the two midterm scores, then the lowest midterm score would be replaced by the comprehensive final score. The overall score will then be calculated by averaging the three test scores. If the student does not take the optional final, the overall score is calculated using only the two midterm scores. Students' exam scores are included in the "Question1" tab in the attached worksheet. Empty data entries for the optional comprehensive final means that the student did not take the optional final. Tasks: Task 1: In Question1 _Module, code a function that requires midterm1 score, midterm2 score, and comprehensive final as inputs and calculate the overall score per the description above. Task 2: In Question1_Module, code a Sub that uses the function coded in task 1 to fill column 'I' of the worksheet and link this sub to the…arrow_forwardDescription: In a hypothetical class, students take two midterms and an optional final. Some are top level symptoms (Abdominal pain, Chest Pain) and others are children connected to these parents by relationships. Example: 'Abdominal pain, right upper quadrant' is a child of 'Abdominal pain' via relation 'location', 'Abdominal pain, mild' is a child of 'Abdominal Pain' via relation 'severity'. Dictionary: Abdominal pain Abdominal pain, right upper quadrant Abdominal pain, right lower quadrant Abdominal pain, left upper quadrant Abdominal pain, right upper quadrant Abdominal pain, mild Abdominal pain, moderate Abdominal pain, severe Chest pain Chest pain, left side Chest pain, right side Chest pain, mild Chest pain, moderate Chest pain, severe Tasks: Create the symptoms tree and print it. - nyoni.trinos87@gmail.com Question 1 Using C# create a class called shapes, the class is supposed to have attributes length, width and height. There should be methods for calculating the area and the perimeter of a shape. Create classes circle, rectangle and square to inherit from class shapes. The derived classes should override methods in the parent class for them to calculate their own areas and perimeters.arrow_forwardprogramming language : C++ subject : object oriented programming question: We know that an Organization consists of Managers and Employees. Players repeatedly roll three dice and assign the resulting patterns to scoring categories so that once some roll has been assigned to a category, that category is considered to have been spent and cannot be used again for any future roll. These tactical choices between safety and risk-taking give this game a little bit more tactical flair on top of merely relying on the favours of Lady Luck for rolling the bones. Given the list of pips of the three dice of the first roll, this function should compute and return the highest possible score available when all categories of the scoring table are still available for you to choose from, so that all that matters is maximizing this…arrow_forward
- Instructor note: Important Coding Guidelines: Use comments, and whitespaces around operators and assignments. Use line breaks and indent your code. Use naming conventions for variables, functions, methods, and more. This makes it easier to understand the code. Write simple code and do not over complicate the logic. Code exhibits simplicity when it’s well organized, logically minimal, and easily readable. A pedometer treats walking 1 step as walking 2.5 feet. Define a method named feetToSteps that takes a double as a parameter, representing the number of feet walked, and returns an integer that represents the number of steps walked. Then, write a main program that reads the number of feet walked as an input, calls method feetToSteps() with the input as an argument, and outputs the number of steps. Use floating-point arithmetic to perform the conversion. Ex: If the input is: 150.5 the output is: 60 The program must define and call a method:public static int feetToSteps(double…arrow_forwardCourse Title: Object Oriented Analysis and Design Question : The automation in our lives has changes much, and so as in our purchasing and selling approaches. Big food chains and Pizza makers are also in quest of means to automate their production so that best and quick services can be provided to the customers. A company called “Eating Bytes” has gone one step forward. The company is planning to use the self-driving cars for their orders delivery. Furthermore, the company has taken its entire kitchen to the inside of the driverless car. Once an order is received from a customer, the car will be heading towards the destination and in the meantime the pizza will be baked, prepared and packed within that car. So, from order taking to order delivery, all the processes have been automated. Identify the Objects and draw a Sequence diagram for the above scenario that how the different objects interact and communicate among each other.arrow_forwardObjectives: • More practice designing and writing classes • Use Java loop structures • More practice rounding numbers • Write boolean expression(s) Background Companies raise money (to be able to do more) by selling shares of stock. You can buy whole shares of stocks. Stocks prices vary over time. If you buy some shares and then sell them when they are higher, you make money :). For stocks, the cost basis is the amount that you spent purchasing the shares. It is calculated as the sum of the number of shares purchased multiplied by the purchase price (at the time of the purchase). After selling shares, the profit is the number of shares sold multiplied the current price, then minus the cost basis. Look at the following examples for illustrations of calculating the profit. Example 1 - Acme Corporation Number of Shares Price per Share 5.50 5.15 100 100 100 6.16 The cost basis is calculated as follows: (100 * 5.50) + (100 * 5.15) + (100 * 6.16) = $1,681.00. Assume that when you go to sell…arrow_forward
