I need help with this simulation model problem. I get how to do a basic coin toss using Rand function in excel but am struggling with how to structure this, given the detail in this problem. Help!
There are three doors; one of them has a prize behind. A contestant first chooses a door and then the game show host will open one of the “wrong” doors. She will never open the door with the prize behind.
Should the contestant a) stay with the originally chosen door, b) switch to the other door or c) flip a coin as there are only two doors left and one has the prize?
Set up a simulation model with 500 trials. Here I need to include the percentage of “wins” for each of the three strategies mentioned. I'm so confused!
