The three things that I am looking for in a future career is, conformability, growing opportunities, culturally respected. Conformability is important to me because with a career you are spending most of your days, hours, and weeks in that office or on the computer. Whether it is meeting with patients, taking meetings, inventory, taking notes, etc. So you should be conformable in the environment that you are working. Psychically emotionally, and mentally. You're not happy when you are unconformable so how could you focus or be happy in the career. Growing opportunities are important I want to grow and learn more into my career. There should never be a way where you do not want to go grow in anything. There should always be a interest to learn and what to reach to the top of your career. Whether it is a position opportunity or a school opportunity. With education opportunity leads to better position opportunities. Being culturally respected is important to me, because there are different beliefs, different ethnicities, different races. I feel that everyone should heard, and their beliefs and opinions should be respected. You may not agree but your opinion should be respected. That stems of conformability also because there will be discussions. There will thoughts and feelings although I may not agree with you I still respect you because of who you are and not give an excuse such as, you're a woman or a man so you wouldn't understand. Or you're not a Christian so your opinion does not matter. Industrial and organizational (I/O) psychologists focus on the behavior of employees in the workplace. They apply psychological principles and research methods to improve the overall work environment, including performance, communication, professional satisfaction and safety.
