Question

Understand what a waiting line problem is.

Expert Solution
Step 1

The waiting line system is exactly what it sounds like. Waiting line management problems or issues generally refers to the trade off’s circumstances between the cost of additional machinery against the cost of time spent in waiting.  This is also known as the queuing system. The waiting time is when an individual or an object spends time waiting in a queue for the activities about to happen.

For example- an individual waits in a line in a bank to deposit a cheque, or an individual waits in a queue to buy exhibition tickets.
