Fortune 500 Company: Walt Disney
A. About the Organization: The first step is to describe the organization at which the IT problem(s) exist / could exist. Preferably, this should be an organization that you have previously worked at, or are currently working at. Otherwise, you can search for non-trivial IT-related problem(s) that major (i.e., Fortune 500) corporations have faced, and take that on as the problem(s) you are going to address in your case study writeup. In addition to a general description of the business, analyze the organization using (a) Porter’s Five Forces model, and (b) the Value Chain model (i.e., how does the organization create value)
B. Problem Identification and Analysis The next step is to identify the specific IT-related problem(s) at the organization. You must clearly describe the problem(s) in detail, covering both their technical as well as social aspects. Identify the stakeholders involved, and how the problem impacted / could impact each stakeholder. Describe where in the organization’s value chain (use Fig. 3.9 of your textbook) did / does the problem exist. What are the business implications of the problem?
C. Describe / Recommend In-Depth Solution(s) The contents of this section will vary depending on whether an actual solution was implemented or not. If a solution was implemented, describe how the decision to implement that solution was reached. What other solutions were considered? Why was this particular solution implemented? How does the solution resolve the problem(s)? What issues were 2 considered in the decision-making process? What stakeholders were considered in the decision-making process? What are the main benefits of the solution? What were its costs? How did the implementation process go? Are there any other problems that arose later? If a solution has not been implemented yet, your job is to analyze potential solutions that could be considered, and make in-depth recommendations. Identify potential solutions to the problem. These may be in the form of identifying IT software that can help address the problem, redesigning a business process, or a combination of both. Analyze the costs and benefits, pros and cons, of different approaches to solve the problem(s). Base your recommendations to senior leadership on your in-depth analysis of the problem(s) and solutions. How does the solution address the problem(s)? How should the organization implement the solution, i.e., what are the steps that need to be taken to reach a proper resolution of the problem(s)? What other recommendations do you have for senior leadership?
D. Learnings from the Case Study Discuss the key learnings from the case study. These should be relevant and useful to students and practitioners (e.g., managers) of

You have started to enter data in an Excel worksheet, which lists by model the following information:arrow_forwardchool Management System“A school management system software is basically designed and developed to simplify the daily activities of schools. A typical system consists of many needs that have to be meet for School Admin, Teacher and Students. Students are responsible for admitting to school and taking exams.”• Write down all UML use cases then create a Use Case UML diagram to represent the functionality of this system.arrow_forward

Explain reason for these mistakes. Make necessary changes on ERD and present only effected structures (entities, attributes and relationships) A- B Iarrow_forwardProblem Description: This week you will write a program that will replace the first and last word in a given sentence. First, your program should ask the user to input a sentence. Next your program should ask the user for the word to replace the first word with. Then your program should also ask for the word to replace the last word with. Finally, your program should display the new sentence with the new first and last words. You are required to use slices for this task. Failure to use slices will result in a grade of zero- no exceptions. Use of split or replace (both of which have not been covered) or any other method not covered by the instructor will result in no credit for the assignment. Your code must work with ANY sentence I enter in to earn credit. In order to earn full credit on the assignment: Provide a course comment header with your name, date, and assignment name. The dealership keeps the cars information such as vehicle number, list price, chassis number, made (eg. Honda, Toyota), model name (eg. Civic, Camry) and year. They also keep information about all sales they have made (for instance, invoice number, buyer’s name, data of purchase and amount paid for the car). In order to contact the buyers in the future, the dealership also keeps their telephone number and address. Some buyers bought more than one car. For statistical purposes, the buyer’s gender and age are also captured. Dealer also needs to know the staff who sold the cars to the buyers such as their staff ID, name, phone number, gender, date of birth, address and basic salary. The dealership has two types of staff - sales agent and admin. Sales agent will have sales quota, basic salary and sales commission from selling cars. While admin staff will receive basic salary and overtime (based on…arrow_forward
