Transcribed Image Text:A reheat cycle with two stages of reheating is executed, with steam expanding
initially from 2250 psia and 1060 °F. The two reheater pressures are 580 psia
and 150 psia, and steam leaves each reheater at 1000 °F. Condensation
occurs at 40 psia. Find
a) the cycle efficiency, %
b) the steam rate, in kg/kwhr
c) if there is no reheater compute for the exhaust enthalpy if the efficiency
of turbine and pump are both 82% and
d) find its thermal efficiency.
