formula for number of signal for H atoms attached to a carbon atom = n+1 where n is no of hydrogen of adjacent carbon atom .

suppose : CH is the hydrogen of which signal is to be calculated is attached to adjacent  C having 2 H then the CH will give triplet signal i.e 3 

values of signals :

R-O-CH- =3.8 ppmR-CO-CH- =2-2.3 ppmR-CH3=0.9 ppm
