My most favorite trip was to Yankton. We stay for five days and we had a blast. We ate tons of burgers and pop, but there was more that we ate. We went on walks during the day and did fun things like frisbee golf. But those are just some of the stuff that we did. Me and my dad went fishing and I caught three fishes in a matter of fifteen minutes. But the total fishes that I caught was four fishes. My dad has been fishes for a very long time so he caught somewhere around ten to twelve fishes on his own. The first day there was amazing due to the fact that we swam for about six hours. Every single night we had a bon fire up to twelve or eleven because we were so tired.
We also got up at six or seven o'clock every morning and ate yummy food.

In the city of Longtown,Ohio,Founded by James Clemens,is a peaceful place where blacks and white did not discriminate each other, or at least it use to be. Now,the people of Longtown are fading from the world and White settlers are buying their land.Longtown was made by James Clemens,a freed slave from the state of Virginia, made this settlement so whites and blacks can live in harmony and peace together, but now that everyone is dying and settlers are buying their land, James’ great grandson,Connor Keiser, is trying to keep the way of life going or in other words Connor Keiser said,” We were the usual Longtown family. We all look different, and we were taught that color didn’t matter. As long as I have anything to do with it,Longtown
Whitsett, North Carolina is a town that many have never heard of, yet it is my hometown. Situated in the Piedmont region of North Carolina, Whitsett is located directly between Greensboro and Burlington, North Carolina in eastern Guilford County. Having moved from a house located in the city limits of Greensboro, NC at the age of three, Whitsett is practically all I have ever known as “home.” My parents decided to move to Whitsett because they were able to find a larger and more suitable house with the arrival of my younger brother, Landon, in the year 1999. With almost 19 years having gone by, my family still lives in the same house today. Our house is located in the neighborhood development known as “Stoney Creek.” Importantly, this is the
In days long when many non-whites were racially segregated , and/or discriminated, making a colored community was unthinkable. That was until one man named James Clemens, a freed slave, broke that barrier, and established Longtown Ohio. The uniqueness of the community, though, was that it was a sanctuary for many different races that were unfit for other communities. This was a place where many different races could interact with each other peacefully. If Riverside, or even our country as a whole had this type of ideology, then there is a likelihood that we would all live in harmony, and safety. It's time we take some ideas from Longtown, and apply them to our country/Riverside. An article published by The Washington Post, “ Ohio Town holds rare history: Races
This summer I went on a trip to pigeon forge tennessee and did a bunch of activities while I was there.Even though we did a lot of activities my favorite one was white water rafting which we did towards the end of the trip.It was the highlight of my trip and i'm going to tell you all about it.
Once we got to San Antonio we got lost for about 15 minutes because of a road contruction. It was fun with my girls we were singing, talking about there school and we saw diffrent park attractions and all kinds of other places. Finally at around 11:30 a.m we got to Harlingen, Texas at my sisters house safe and sound. But that didn't stop us , once we got there we just picked up my sister and my nephew and we headed to the beach of South Padre Island. We were almost there because you can start to smell the fresh salt water and see the big 2 mile stretch of the bridge. Once we arrived we parked right by the water on the sand. My girls just got off my car and started running towards the waves of water. Me and my sister watched while my nephew and my girls were splashing in the water. We really enjoyed that day. We had a barbeque and played volley ball, relaxed on top of a float in the
I caught 3 crappies 1 bass 9 sunfish. The bass I caught was big and nice but we could not keep it because it was not the time to keep bass so I was a little mad. But the good thing I caught was the 3 crappies and 9 sunfish and we caught a butt load of fish. When me and my brother

While I was a kid my family and I used to go on bike rides all the time to anywhere you could think of. We would go boating everyday in the summer. We would ski, wakeboard, go tubing and many more. Go tubing was one of the funniest memories I have boating because the thrill you get is unbeatable trying to hold on for dear life. Anothering thing we did as a family was go on vacation everywhere. The road trips were always fun because we would bring our dog turbo. The one trip that will never be forgotten is North Carolina. We go there every year with family friends and it will be a trip on go on with my kids.
Washington is a unique and mind-blowing state that draws people from all over the world to visit this breath-taking state. Washington has many priceless attractions, natural wonders, amazing companies and inventions. This state created what nobody has ever thought of. This state is also really unique in its own way.
It was cool because we went to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, something that I remember is when we were at looking at the elephants we were walked by a rhino statue and it sprayed my sister with water. We didn’t know that was going to happen, come to find out there was a sign that said it sprays water. Also we went to the Broadmoor hotel it was so cool. One thing about that hotel is that there things are very expensive, a small candy was$20. I was like oh my goodness.
I went to Geneva on the Lake and had the most lively time there. First we went to the beach and rummaged through the sand with sifters to find beach glass which was so much fun. We then went to this rundown building with old antiques and knick knacks, and some of the things were shuddersome and freighting. After we went through some more buildings we went to get some food which was really appetizing. Lastly it was time to leave which was hard because I had so much fun there.
My trip to the Grand Canyon was the best experience I ever had so far in my life. My grandparents from Korea came along with us. Even though I saw them last year it was still an enjoyable moment that I had. Grand Canyon is located in Arizona so what our family did was fly to Las Vegas early in the morning and arrive in Nevada around 9 o’clock am. Driving to Grand Canyon was also five hours with heavy traffic. Driving and stopping every hour was hard to do but at the end it was all worth it. It was good that I had couple electronic devices and my family to keep me in company.
The last park I went to was Central Park in New York. I did not get to walk around a lot because it was the middle of November and it was very cold out. Also, since Central Park is so big, I only got to see a small part of it. My favorite part was the carriage ride that we were able to take around Central Park. It did get really cold on the carriage because I was just sitting still, but it was definitely worth it. I also remember walking past a man-made ice rink that was outside, and as a Floridian I have never ice skated outside before. We ended up not ice skating because it did not look fun at all. I also remember walking around this little zoo area that was in Central Park. I went to all the tourist spots in Central Park, but it was definitely worth it. Central Park is massive and I cannot wait to go back when it is a lot
Trying to find memories is like looking for treasure. You look at the surface and see something mediocre, but you dig deep and find something cool, pretty, and meaningful. It took a while to think of a fond memory, but once I thought of some, it was hard to choose a favorite. Growing up I have had many great experiences in the form of vacations. Between going to Disney World, owning a vacation home, hanging out with my grandparents in Arizona, traveling to Canada and more. They all make amazing memories that I will forever cherish. The vacation spot we go to the most, though, is Wisconsin Dells. A few times I have been allowed to invite friends to come with. When I am allowed to bring friends, it is always a ginormous amount of fun. We goof off in the hotel room, play in the arcades, and swim in the water parks.
