Some things are different in the book and movie. Like Sunset Towers and Money in both versions. Sunset towers is luxurious in the book but a bad place to live downtown. The story had more key moments than the movie. For example the grey planet that the beasts had healed Meg on.The book states “Now she was able to look around a little, and everything she could see was rusty and gray.” (pg 85) This quote shows the story is better because in the movie the grey planet is not even mentioned which shows the more detail in the book than the movie. In the movie this never happened. This makes the story better because this had raised the climax because the black thing was hurting her and the beasts had saved her but she had to go back in without the beasts and she had to save them

The first difference is the point of view. In the movie, the story is in Turtle’s point of view which makes it harder to understand the whole story. The book is in 3rd person point of view. Although the book is in 3rd person, it still has thoughts from the characters. The movie only has thoughts from Turtle and that makes it hard to understand.

This is an example of the directors not following the story line. As she has this flashback it is foreshadowing her and Charles Wallace finding their father. Another example of the director not following the original story line is in the movie “A Wrinkle in TIme,” they show Mrs.Murray looking up the tesseract unlike in the book. This also is showing foreshadowing because Meg see that her father is stuck in the tesseract the thing her mom was looking up. So, now she knows why she hadn’t seen her father in a five or six years.

The director in the movie and the novel want to compare the similar and difference in Then There Were None and A Wrinkle in Time . However the impact affected the stories because the director changed the stories from the original stories. A Wrinkle in Time has similar and differences between the movie and the novel. For an example in the novel it starts in the murray house and in the book it starts outside later on in the novel they meet calvin and he walking the dog .

The third noticeable difference is a character name change from the book to the movie; Matthew Teran in the book is Matthew Terrell in the movie and he ends up being murdered in the book whereas at the end of the movie he’s running for mayor. A fourth noticeable difference is the pier scene. In the book Albright and Easy meet at the Santa Monica pier and in the movie it is the Malibu pier. And the last most noticeable difference between the book and the movie is that Mouse knows Daphne Monet or shall we call her by her real name Ruby Hanks; however, in the movie the audience never finds that out. In the movie the only true thing you get to know about Daphne is that she is both black and white. Therefore, due to the many differences between the book and the movie it is confusing to the audience since it is almost like dealing with two different stories because of the plot inconsistencies.

The book starts out with a man named Walton, who desires to travel to the north pole. He is writing to a woman named Mrs. Saville. Later in the book the reader will soon find out how everything started to go downhill, once the tragedies started to occur.
