World War 2 was something devastating that has happened and the Versailles Treaty may have been a reason that it even started. The main reasons the treaty caused this are: the treaty made Germany lose land as part of a consequence, they found it unfair since they were blamed for WW1, they had to pay for all damages caused during war, and it caused them to have a limited military.

World War II happened because of a multitude of things because of the way they dealt with Germany. The start of the war had many things contributing to it. Because of the faulty League of Nations as well as appeasement in European countries, World War II took a turn for the worst, making it the biggest, most deadly, and most impactful war in history. The League of Nations was one thing that contributed to the start of World War II.

War is war, it is not pretty or humane, but what it is, is a diplomatic way in which to settle disputes and aggressions between countries. World War II changed the lives of many Americans overnight. Men, women, children, everyone was impacted by it in one way or another. After the bombing of Pearl Harbor by the Imperial Japanese, the United States made the decision to enter World War II and fight back. World War II gave those who were discriminated against better opportunities. World War II impacted many Americans especially Latinos, African Americans, and women. Even though they were all discriminated against equally before World War II, during World War II Latinos and African Americans had a more positive experience than women.

On December 7, 1941, with Japanese attack on Perl Harbor, all debate over avoiding war and the policy of American isolationism was gone. It was the beginning of a great war that brought death, devastation and finally the victory and power to United States. At the time of Roosevelt’s appointment in 1933, historically crucial events were taking place in Japan, Italy and Germany which had to shape the future and the fate of United States. This paper studies and analyses the major factors which contributed to American success both at home and abroad during WWII in addition to world’s view about American participation in war and bombings on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

In today’s digital age, development of new technology and weapons are at an alarming rate, hence arises the need to stay ahead of advancements in order to properly defend the nation, as well as coalition forces and allies. In this period of warfare, the number one threat comes in the form of air breathing and ballistic missiles. During World War II, this threat was present, but was not thought to be prevalent.

Nationalism is the pride and devotion form one towards his/her country. It played a great part in the causes of World War 1 because citizens wanted to stand up for their country, and fight for them. World War Two ended after much hard work, followed with celebration and joy. But are the reasons we came to victory more than what we think? During the hard times we once faced, many brave women would sacrifice all they had to contribute to the war in some way. Even if it was something as simple as making inspirational posters, it still helped tremendously. In many ways, women who played a part in the war affected it greatly and the bravery they showed set a huge example for us today.

World War II had a definite impact on the United States. It changed how people lived and how other people were viewed. Not many people realize the treatment of people from our own country during World War II. Three groups of people that were affected were women, African Americans, and Japanese Americans. The lives of these people were changed drastically, whether by having to work, mistreatment because of skin color, or by being blamed for something that was done by a country they were native to.

World War 2 was a massive war which engulfed the whole world from 1939 – 1935. There were 2 different sides in the war. These two sides were the Allies and the axis. At the start of the war, the Allies consisted of Great Britain and all of its colonies (such as Australia) and France. The Axis consisted of Germany, Italy, Japan and the Soviet Union. At the start of the war the axis powers were dominating. Germany used “Blitzkrieg” (Lighting war) tactics very successfully and overran many countries using it. But some major events occurred and turned the tide of the war to the favour of the Allies. However two of these major events are most often talked about to be the reason that the axis powers eventually lost. One of these events includes the Japanese attack on pearl harbour. This brought America into the war and onto the side of the Allies. The other of the two events was instigated by Germany itself. Germany decided to attack one of their allies. This ally was the Soviet Union. There is often a lot of debate about which of these events is greatest, that is to have had the biggest effect in the war. So the question has to be asked, was it the US entrance into the war that made the defeat of Germany inevitable, or it caused by the German attack of the Soviet Union. The period from World War II till the present has been widely regarded as a period of an immense amount of social progress. The years following saw vast acceptance of people of various tenets of faith and colors of skin. One can argue that for a period of time America post-WWII, there was growing amount of acceptance amongst the population, especially with the election of the first Catholic President, John F. Kennedy. The sentiment of allowing other people continued as quotas of allowing people from other countries diminished with the Immigration and Nationality Services Act of 1965 opened up availabilities for Hindus and Muslims to enter the country. With the existing demographics in this early phases of the post-WWII United States, America was definitely making strides towards becoming a more pluralistic nation, continuing a trend from even before WWII. Things began to take a reverse shift in the late 1970s as counterculture left white conservative evangelists thinking that the new generations were preventing their stronghold of the country. America has been a less pluralistic nation ever since the Reagan Revolution and the rightward shift of the white demographic and the new religious right, the attacks on 9/11, and just recently with the election of Donald Trump. All of these events have elicited feelings of subliminal prejudice against minority religious sects, such as the of the Islamic faith.
