William Shakespeare was a renowned playwright and sonneteer, who’s writing displayed vast knowledge, wisdom, and creativity. Shakespeare wrote a grand total of 37 plays and 154 sonnets, the number alone bringing into question whether or not the Stratford-upon-Avon man could have truly created these works. There are vast volumes of theories regarding the true authorship of Shakespeare’s many works. However, most of these theories are circumstantial and fail to prove that anyone other than Shakespeare wrote Shakespeare.

William Shakespeare is a Renaissance poet, actor, and playwright famous for his play “Romeo and Juliet”. Other plays include “Hamlet”, “McBeth”. He has influenced many of today's movies, plays, and books. Such as “Gnomeo and Juliet” or “ Twice old Tales” by Charles Dickens. He owned and created blueprints The Globe Theatre which is still standing and open to the public, says Absolute Shakespeare. The Globe Theatre is located in Stratford-Upon-Avon where Shakespeare spent most his time.

Christopher Marlowe or De vere could have been the author of Shakespeare's carrier. There is a controversy over the existence of William Shakespeare. In the article , “Was William shakespeare just a pseudonym”. Henry James once stated “I am… haunted by the conviction that the divine William is the biggest and most successful fraud ever practice on a patient world.”. There is two sides of the controversy that William was not what he said he was. In conclusion I agree with the Oxfordians that Shakespeare was just an actor not a poet and playwright.

Given the religious turmoil of the time and the horrendous executions to criminals, why did William Shakespeare choose to mostly write comedies? Did Shakespeare not understand the mood of society, or perhaps did he write exactly the type of plays that everyone needed to see? To fully understand why William Shakespeare chose to write of amusing scenarios, its important to know what society in his time was like: sorrowful, argumentative, but also enlightening. Amidst the troubles of religion and despairing sights of death, theater rose to the top of many people’s hearts.

Often combing words that are in different languages such as Latin and Greek. Some of the words that he created are; arch-villain, birthplace, and bloodsucking. His poems were described as " immortalization of beauty and love in poetry." He created 5 long narrative poems. Shakespeare is often known by England's national poet and the "Bard of Avon." He went to King's new school. After the birth of his twins, there where no records recorded, these years were called the "Lost Years." There are some theories for the sudden disappearance. Even though Pocahontas was born during the later years of Shakespeare’s life, interesting correlations exist between the playwright and the Indian princess. King James I of England wrote about witches, which gave some background information for Shakespeare’s Tragedy of Macbeth. As the special guest of Queen Elizabeth I, it is likely that Sir Walter Raleigh watched some of Shakespeare’s plays presented at court. His father, John Shakespeare, was a prosperous glove maker and wool dealer and was well regarded throughout Stratford, even holding the position of High Bailiff for a time. Young William saw his first play at the age of five from a traveling group of actors. Due to John’s position on the town council, he was responsible for approving the play for public performances. This gave William a chance to meet and get to know the actors who would return a few times each year for another performance.

Although Shakespeare and his work have proven themselves significant and have been able to last to even the modern day, much of Shakespeare’s life is a mystery. The only two primary sources that can be used to look at Shakespeare’s life are his works, his legal documents, and his church documents.
