Christopher Marlowe or De vere could have been the author of Shakespeare's carrier. There is a controversy over the existence of William Shakespeare. In the article , “Was William shakespeare just a pseudonym”. Henry James once stated “I am… haunted by the conviction that the divine William is the biggest and most successful fraud ever practice on a patient world.”. There is two sides of the controversy that William was not what he said he was. In conclusion I agree with the Oxfordians that Shakespeare was just an actor not a poet and playwright.

William Shakespeare was a famous artist, poet, and author during the Elizabethan Era. Even though he died over 400 hundred years ago he is still talked about all over the world. A big question that is still asked today, is whether Shakespeare actually wrote all the works that he was attributed. Based on my own research and evidence I have gathered, I believe that William Shakespeare was not an author, but it was actually Sir Francis Bacon who wrote all the famous pieces of literature.

He wrote 154 sonnets throughout his life. Shakespeare sonnets tell us what was happening in that time of his life. It is very easy to determine Shakespeare’s feelings and emotions through his sonnets. It is still a big mystery on his personal life, no one really knows much about him besides being an amazing writer. One shocking thing I learned is that he was in fact gay.
