Who is responsible for Romeo and Juliet’s death’s their family, Friar Laurence, or was it Romeo and Juliet’s fault? The people who are the most responsible for Romeo and Juliet’s deaths are their parents. Their parents are responsible because if the parents never had a family feud Romeo and Juliet wouldn’t have never hid their love for each other and their parents also caused them to go to friar Laurence for advice. Their parents because if the parents never had the feud they wouldn’t have to hide their love each other. Their also caused them to go to friar Laurence for advice. When friar married them even though they did not have their parents’ consent. This supports the reason because it led to their deaths. when friar told Juliet
“From for the fatal lions of these two foes, a pair of stare-cross’d lovers take their life’s, whose misadventur’d piteouse overthrows? Doth with their death bury their parent’s strife” (Shakespeare). Many deaths are caused due to this tragic love. The person responsible for Romeo and Juliet’s death is Friar Laurence due to the fact that he was a misleader, reckless and bad advisor. Even though he was just trying to help these two young lovers, he made things lead to a tragedy.
The second reason Why Friar Laurence is to blame for Romeo and Juliets death is that Friar Laurence trusted another Friar with the letter that was a big part of
Friar Laurence was the main person to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. He had given Juliet the potion that killed her, but he didn't even know if it worked, but still gave it to Juliet, who was a child. As said by Friar Laurence in Act 4 Scene 1 this thou vile and this distilled liquor drink thou off when presently through all the veins shall run cold, drowsy humor; for no pulse shall keep
In the play, Friar Laurence married two underage kids whose parents didn’t get along. In act two scene six it states “So smile the heavens upon this holy act…., These violent delights have violent ends and in their triumph die, like fire and powder, which, as they kissed, consume.”. He married the young foes knowing that they were still irresponsible and couldn’t even take care of themselves yet. Friar Laurence knew what he was doing was wrong and that it would end up in consequences, because the two families of these children didn’t get along and that they wouldn’t approve of that marriage, because later Sir Capulet told Juliet that she would have to marry Sir Paris while she was already married to Romeo but without him knowing or else he would disown her. This detail is significant because if they had advised their families then that might have stopped the feud between their families. In the play, Juliet informed Friar Laurence what Sir Capulet had demanded. In act four scene one it states “Tell me not, Friar, that thou hearst of this, Unless thou tell me how I may prevent it… God joined my heart and Romeo’s, thou our hands.….And, if thou darest, I’ll give thee remedy.” Juliet had gone and asked for Friar Laurence for help and he went and gave her poison so that she would go seem dead for 48 hours. First, there were so many things that went wrong with that plan. In the play Friar Laurence said that he would inform Romeo
“Romeo and Juliet” is one of Shakespeare’s most famous tragedies. With a few different decisions by the main characters, the story could be altered completely. Romeo and Juliet were a pair of “star crossed lovers” however, their love was forbidden to an ancient grudge between their families, the Capulets and the Montagues. Despite the grudge, the lovers decide to secretly marry. Their decision results in a large amount of turmoil when Romeo gets banished when he kills Juliet's cousin, Tybalt. In an attempt to get back together, their death ensues. Many debate about who is responsible for their death, I believe that they are responsible for their own deaths because they were too hasty, broke rules, and were irresponsible.
These are the reason why I believe Friar Laurence is responsible for the most blame for Romeo and Juliet’s deaths. First of all, Friar married Romeo and Juliet with knowledge of them being from two rival families. In Act 2 Scene
Others may say that it was the parents that were most to blame for Romeo and Juliet’s death because they would not let them do what they wanted. But, Friar
Friar Lawrence the one that was most responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet, the nurse played a big role in the actions that lead up to the tragedy that was the death of two young star crossed lovers. The nurse was looking out for Juliet and doing what she felt was best.Even though Friar Lawrence helped the two star crossed lovers get away with a lot of their plans involving their love, his intentions were good and honest. Romeo and Juliet's death was also their own fault they knew what they were doing and what the consequences could be. but there love blinded them and the only thing that mattered to them was that they were together. So many other characters and factors had a role in the death of Romeo and Juliet. The Friar's plan
In the play Romeo and Juliet, William Shakespeare develops a story where Romeo is to blame for all of the deaths in the play. He is responsible for Mercutio, Tybalt, Paris and Juliet's death, and somewhat his mother's death as well. He had straight up killed Paris and Tybalt, but he got in the way of Mercutio and Tybalt fighting and caused Tybalt to slay Mercutio. He is also responsible for Juliet's death because when Juliet awoke from her slumber due to the potion Frair Laurence gave her, and once she saw Romeo dead on the ground she took his dagger and stabbed herself. He also is responsible for his own death by killing himself. Finally he is responsible for his mother's death because once she found out about dead Romeo she died of a broken heart of a heart attack.
At the end of the play, both Romeo and Juliet are dead. Their death are the result of many different events and decisions. However who do you think is the most to blame for their deaths? Now in this essay i am going to tell you about who i feel is most responsible for the lives of the two star-crossed lovers. Now you might differ with me but hopefully i can show you my reasoning for why i believe this person is responsible for Romeo and Juliet lives.
"What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet?" William Shakespeare. The whole play is based on how two families are in a feud. The Montagues and the Capulets were fighting for an unknown reason.
In the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, I believe that Romeo is responsible for Juliet’s and his own death. To begin with, Romeo made the unwise decision to go to the Capulet party. In Act 1, Scene 5, he is asked to read a paper that had all the people invited to the Capulet party on it, and upon learning there was a party, he decides to go. If he never went to the party, Romeo and Juliet probably would have never met, therefore, they wouldn’t have fallen in love and wouldn’t have died in the end. Going to the Capulet party was not a smart decision on Romeo’s part considering he is a Montague, and he should have known better than to mess around considering the Prince told them that if there were any more fights, there would be consequences.
The play Romeo and Juliet, by William Shakespeare, is known for its romantic tragedy between two star-crossed lovers. People always wonder who is responsible for the deaths of the two, so who is the most to blame? One of the most blamed could be Friar Laurence. Friar Laurence kept their marriage a secret - hoping to end the fued between the Capulets and the Montagues,he is the one who gave Juliet the potion to seem dead, and he never got the letter to Romeo. As a result, both Romeo and Juliet died.
The ending of the play Romeo and Juliet is quite well known - the two characters dying as a result of their forbidden love. There is quite a bit of controversy over who was responsible for their deaths. Some people blame Friar Laurence, for devising plan which took their lives, while others blame Benvolio and Mercutio, for convincing Romeo to go into the party, where he met Juliet. One way or another, the deaths of Romeo and Juliet caused much grief for their respective families, as imagined, but there is a bit of irony in this scene. When you look at the book as a whole, not just at the few scenes in act four and five, Lord and Lady Capulet caused the deaths of Romeo and Juliet.
Romeo and Juliet is about two young kids that fall in love, but family don’t like each other .So Romeo and Juliet going to find a way to be together and get marry. The Friar,Romeo family,Juliet family are responsible for Romeo and Juliet deaths because the family don’t like each other but if they did Juliet would not have to take the potion then Romeo would not think that his love was dead. So that was a bad idea that the Friar had. Friar told Juliet to take the potion.
