The play Romeo and Juliet, by William Shakespeare, is known for its romantic tragedy between two star-crossed lovers. People always wonder who is responsible for the deaths of the two, so who is the most to blame? One of the most blamed could be Friar Laurence. Friar Laurence kept their marriage a secret - hoping to end the fued between the Capulets and the Montagues,he is the one who gave Juliet the potion to seem dead, and he never got the letter to Romeo. As a result, both Romeo and Juliet died. One of the reasons why Friar is responsible because he married Romeo and Juliet. Instead of encouraging them to commitment their love for each other to their families , he marries them. The bond between Romeo and Juliet grew even more strong
