I would be able to come through on my promises to people and help them with whatever they need help with. Say my friend across the street needs me to watch his house while he is gone, he is putting a huge responsibility on my shoulders. Now if I were more responsible this would be no problem, but at the moment my friend most likely would be uneasy about letting me watch his house. Another thing if I was more responsible I could help my community and make sure it is a better place to live. This would not only be beneficial to others, but my self-esteem may be raised by this effort. Finally, I would have more friends and maybe be more popular than I already am as I could be more outgoing and adventure out of my safe zone so I may get noticed more often. Another quote from Brian Tracy was “Impressionable people trot out there excuses and get off the hook” and this is quite true as people who are given

The way society is today, it’s challenging to tell what kind of responsibilities people have. Everyone gets so focused on their jobs, their cellphones, or other attributes that people lose the meaning of responsibility; like when a parent goes out to the park and takes their child out so they can let some energy out, I get it, they can be a pain, but if a parent is on their cellphone for too long and don’t even acknowledge their child, something could essentially happen; if something were to happen, imagine if they were not able to prevent a corrupt situation from occurring because they were distracted with an electronic device or any other activity. Circumstances like these happen more often than you may think the idea of responsibility could
Being responsible refers to our ability to make decisions that serve our own interests and the interests of others. We first need to be responsible for ourselves before we can be responsible for others. In learning to be more responsible it is important that we know our limitations. It does not matter how smart we are, there is only so much responsibility that one person can handle at any given time. It is also important to remember that we are not responsible for thing that are out of our control, for example, how other people think and feel or how they react to ourselves or others. Every day, people are faced with responsibility. Some thrive under the pressure while others crumble. Responsibility is a sign of independence. Teenagers with greater amounts of responsibility feel freedom from their parents. In the same case, too much responsibility can put more stress on that freedom-seeking teen and can have devastating effects. John Steinbeck shows the theme that in life, responsibility is best taken in moderation in his novel Of Mice and Men.
Responsibility is a key component in establishing a person’s character and a vital part of human existence. Of the three definitions the Oxford Dictionary provides, the one of most relevance is; the opportunity or ability to act independently and take decisions without authorization. This definition is particularly important because the decisions a person makes without the influence of others essentially denotes a person’s character and displays who they truly are. Throughout life, numerous opportunities are brought about which require a person to take responsibility and make the appropriate choices. Students are expected to be responsible throughout their academic careers by upholding the standards established by the institution they are
I would become more responsible because seeing the mess my niece makes would make me want to clean up after myself. It would help me understand why my mom got aggravated all the time. Seeing the struggle my sister went through with her daughter makes me want to help. I help her clean up with her daughter’s mess and help her cook. I even babysit.
To most people, when they hear people mention the word responsible they often assume that they did something wrong. For example, when teachers say, “Who is responsible for this,” people believe that someone has done something wrong. In my eyes, that is not how I see myself at all. Teachers usually tell me to watch the class if they step out because of my responsibility skills. I have learned that when someone trusts me or holds me responsible for something and I do not do it, I lose that person’s trust and it would be very hard to get that trust back. When people hold me responsible, I take that as a compliment because they know that I am

As a soldier of the world’s most powerful military force, the U.S Army, it is imperative that I demonstrate competence, efficiency, and professionalism at all times. To achieve this goal accountability is an absolute necessity. As a soldier I must maintain constant accountability of my equipment and my team. Without constant visual and/or physical security of my equipment I would be making it too easy for the enemy to take my equipment and use it against me and my fellow soldiers. Without accountability of my fellow soldiers I put them as well as myself in danger. If I don’t know where my team is it is impossible to come to their aid if needed and vice versa. That being said it is a key part in being a

My family and friends describe me as a responsible person. I always take responsibility for my acts and I understand that result always depends only on me. I guess, people like that they can rely on me in any situation. For example, if I promised to come and help, people are sure that I will do it because there is no evidence when I could take my words back.
Undoubtedly, the way individuals act within society is a direct result of the expectation that society places upon them. There are a plethora of ways that an individual can distinguish themselves as conforming to the desires of society or rejecting those desires, those choices heavily impacting the way in which they are perceived by society. In the context of the AIDS epidemic, these ideas of socially ordained responsibility become unavoidable, as matters of public and personal health become a means with which individuals, who have to deal with the implications the epidemic had on society, can be discriminated by.
