To me, Case Western Reserve University symbolizes everything that an individual could, and should, want to be a part of. World-renowned academic excellence, top notch facilities, and an unmatched commitment to its students are all things that make Case Western Reserve University a dream institution. For the longest, the only thing I knew about Case was its undergraduate programs. As I was getting ready to apply undergraduate programs, I received numerous brochures and letters from the institution filled with information. In the end, I decided to stay closer to home for family reasons.
The University of Wisconsin-Madison, in my opinion, is a class above the competition in every aspect. Whether it be the top tier athletic program or the prestigious School of Journalism and Mass Communication; UW, does everything better. I decided to apply to the University of Wisconsin, Madison because I feel that it is the best place for me to grow and develop as a future journalist. I want to focus on sports journalism and I don’t think there is any other team in the nation that I would rather analyze than the Wisconsin Badgers. UW-Madison, doesn’t just have an excellent athletics’ program, but also is a pillar of education. As a student that would attend UW-Madison, I would have the best opportunity to grow as a person and as a professional
I am applying to the University of Wisconsin-Madison, because it is a large school with outstanding credentials, with a strong community and lots of school spirit. This is exactly what I am looking for for in my college environment. I want a large school population where I can meet new people every day, get involved in many activities, and where I can make connections and build relationships with my professors. I also look forward to living in snow again - I moved from Denmark to California a few years ago, and I miss the winter weather!
It has every program I was looking for along with a gorgeous campus and it’s in close proximity to the sea.The innovative nature of UNCW is what really made me think UNCW is the school for me and give me an opportunity to explore different horizons and allow me to be
Figuring out where I wanted to go to school has honestly been extremely challenging for me because I didn’t know what I wanted from a college. After researching school after school I realized that Madison was definitely the winner. Personally, I’ve always lived in small towns, so I think that’s what made me question my decision. After I got over that I realized how amazing it will be to live in such a wonderful city. Madison is a unique city, offers me an abundance of opportunities, and has an amazing pre-med program.
I could take advantage of research facilities like the Woodman Astronomical Library and enroll in classes that explore everything from the physics of our solar system to the history of our universe. I see myself joining interdepartmental clubs like Astronomy Club and Women in Physics and I hope to someday be a part of a research opportunity like the renowned IceCube Neutrino Observatory. In addition to working towards my major, I am thrilled at the prospect of being able to take the wide variety of classes available at UW-Madison. Throughout high school I have taken classes based solely on exploring new subjects for fun and to potentially discover a new interest, and I hope to do the same at Madison. I could fulfill my desire to connect with my Slavic roots and study Czech. I could empower myself with a class on gender and women’s studies, question my existence with a class on the meaning of life, overcome my stage fright with a class on music performance. With my aspirations held high and seemingly endless opportunities ahead of me, the sky’s the limit. At the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with my trumpet and my telescope angled high, not even the sky would be the
I never knew anyone who had attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which made the entire visiting trip feel personal and unique. My initial undergraduate major fluctuated between the business and engineering world. I was constantly reminded by my parents about how the typical college student changes their major six times, so I had a desire to pursue a school with a plethora of options. Luckily, the University of Wisconsin-Madison had top tier programs in both fields.
As a student preparing to enter college, I have been struggling to decide which path to take as I move forward toward my future. Going to school at Kalamazoo College will allow me to explore numerous academic paths to figure out the best fit for me. Along with the educational options, I am excited to see more of the campus, as I found it to be very hospitable when I visited the school. I want to be able to discover my future options in a comfortable environment in which I can not only study in a variety of relaxing areas, but also learn about the history of the school as I continue through my college career and visit different parts of the campus.
People feed off of other people. The Ohio State Business Honors Learning Community is a fantastic opportunity to surround myself with other excelling business majors. First of all, I will be able to provide a broad set of interests from theatre, to music, to sports, and to discussion. My diverse background will allow me to reach out to many members of the community both on the business level and the personal level. Along with my broad set of interests, I can bring an up and coming major, (Information Systems,) into the community. With Big Data on the rise, Information Systems has become one of the fastest growing majors in the world. Students with these majors are often the connecting points between management level and IT level. Understanding
People say college is the biggest change in their lives. I can only believe this to be true. I would love to find out by attending UW-Oshkosh. I know college will put me outside my comfort zone, but I look forward to the experience. I liked the layout of the campus in Oshkosh and the students I met.
I would work to make sure everyone feels welcome and free to express themselves. Whether that is better access to certain classes, or more spaces for relaxing and reflecting, these are things that will help students to become the best version of themselves while pursuing their education at UW-Madison.

There are many factors that make USD a stand out among the other schools I am applying to. The smaller size of the school appeals to me as I believe this encourages a sense of community. With a student/faculty ratio of 15:1, I won’t just be another face. I will get to know my classmates and professors very much over the course of my 4-year degree. As a practicing Catholic, I appreciate the spiritual orientation of a Catholic school and the opportunities that it provides for both community service and leadership.
So why is Madison at the top of my list? Ever since I was a child, my mother has always told me to do my best and to excel in what I do. After visiting two of the three colleges, I made my choice late in the school year; I chose Wartburg. But then comes the question, why Wartburg? And I couldn’t give the askers of that
