In my highschool career I spent most of my time at the pool as a swim instructor and lifeguard and surprisingly this was what showed me that caring for children was my passion. By working with these kids and learning how to care for them it only gave me more confidence in my decision to become a pediatrician. This and my personal experience with children really opened my eyes to how what I truly wanted to do going into college was right in front of me. I plan to major in Biology and have a minor in Psychology.UNC Wilmington has an excellent Biology program that I would love to take a part of. Going this to university would be a fantastic opportunity because it is known for its diversity, affordability, and highly ranked programs. When I found UNCW I thought It would be a perfect fit for me. …show more content…
It has every program I was looking for along with a gorgeous campus and it’s in close proximity to the sea.The innovative nature of UNCW is what really made me think UNCW is the school for me and give me an opportunity to explore different horizons and allow me to be
UNC Charlotte has made a significant impact on my undergraduate career because this campus has an abundance of resources, a helpful staff, a diverse atmosphere, and plenty of opportunities for campus involvement. This university has a variety of staff, all of which have been helpful in my college experience. They are excellent about working with students so they can gain the most out of their educational experience. For example, when I have sought out more information on which portion of Spain to go to, so that I may improve my Spanish fluency, my professor was extremely helpful. She sat down with me and explained about what it is like living in Spain, tips for where to go, and what to expect from the different regions. This valuable information
Trace Adkins put out some good country music like Honky Tonk Badonkadonk is his number one hit song and It's Adkins only platinum single it came out in 2005. The University of North Carolina Wilmington gives a welcoming and home-like feeling to all who attend. Once I step foot on campus, it reminds me of the privilege I have of staying home. It has always been the college I've wanted to attend. The small and diverse community is what keeps me here in Wilmington, North Carolina and UNCW fulfills my dreams of not leaving. I find the mixture of races and gender to be essential in a community or school. It defines a person including their culture and allows everyone to be different from one another. It proves that we can all get along and work together to create greater changes as a whole; UNCW has that variety. However, not only does the diverse environment attract me, but so does the beautiful campus.
I would love to be a part of Central Michigan's athletic training program. I have a deep love and passion for sports. After High School I would still want to be in the sports field and I also like caring for people which would make Athletic training the field for me. I am currently a captain on my basketball and track team. I make others around me better and take on the role of being a leader. My goal is to graduate and get my degree. After that I envision myself being a strength and conditioning coach or an athletic trainer. I want to be a good athletic trainer at a college or pro level.
I chose NDSU because I feel like I was pretty well acquainted with the campus during my time in high school. Each summer, for FFA, my chapter, along with others from across the state, spent a week here competing in different agricultural competitions. Also, I talked with alumni from this nursing program, and they all said it was set up very well, and also put them on a track to getting a good job afterwards. When I came for a tour earlier this spring, I got to hear a speech from the Dean of nursing, and I just sort of felt like this was the right place. On a side note, I like being here because of the agricultural side of NDSU as well, even if I’m not necessarily going into a field pertaining to it. It seems more like home to me, when the person next to me, going into Vet Tech, rides horse as much as I did.
I have fallen in love with UNCW after first-hand seeing it for myself last summer. I know a lot of alumni from UNCW and have heard nothing but positive things about the school, teachers, and its courses. I am interested in majoring marketing or business and UNCW excels in both of these areas for me. In addition, it provides many courses that assist me in meeting my goals for my career. I would love to attend UNCW because it is close to my hometown but also far enough to where I can be an independent. Not only do I believe the University of North Carolina Wilmington is the right fit for me and my future career but also has every aspect that I am looking for in a college. It has the perfect location, the perfect size, very affordable, and the
Attending Kennesaw State University has been a very rewarding journey. As a current senior in college, I have been given the chance to experience the University environment. An environment full of my interaction with my fellow classmates working in study groups and tutoring sessions. Also having the option to sit in on my professor's 2nd lecture that you did not understand fully during your class period.
This spring, I will be completing my first year of graduate school in the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at the University of New Mexico. I graduated with a B.S. Degree in Environmental Science from UNM last year and was the first in my family to earn a college degree. I transferred to UNM in the fall of 2012 and have had the opportunity to interact with many professors, which I feel helped to influence my decision for graduate school.
Being able to attend UNCW would allow me the opportunity to volunteer and shadow at multiple State parks in the surrounding area. I feel it would also help me grow as a person through student
I've always wanted to go to college my whole life. I didn't know what I wanted to do later in life, or what I wanted to major in. My dream was always to just go to college. As a sophomore in high school I discovered the basic field I wanted to be in, the veterinary world. My junior year I knew which profession I wanted to be involved with; however, I wasn't quite sure which role. Now as a senior, I know exactly what I want to do with my life. I am hoping that UTK will be the college for me. I have previously visited UTK, and it just felt right. Visiting other colleges, nothing compared to the uniqueness and homelike atmosphere of UTK. Being a Kentucky resident, I am quite familiar with Tennessee, and it is one of my favorite states. I am hoping to fulfill my dreams here at UTK, and continue further down my path to success.
Of this list, I chose UNC-W for a number of reasons. The main reason I chose this school was the location. UNC-W is centered in one of the largest cities in North Carolina. Within just a few miles, there is access to the beach and there is access to a flourishing city. Wilmington is also known for its breathtaking landscape. Being only an hour and a half from Goldsboro, I can quickly get home if needed. The University of North Carolina at Wilmington is known for its size, for the price reasonability, and for the Cameron School of Business.
The formal and informal onboarding program both send a distinct message to the new hire so it is important to understand the advantages and disadvantages of both. First, informal plans are unstructured and without an explicit plan. An advantage of the informal plan is your company will be able to see right away if the new employee can adjust and learn quickly on their own. It is a sink-or-swim tactic that puts pressure on the employee to learn quickly without devoting any money or resources to training the new hire. Disadvantages of this approach is that the onboarding is very loose without any support or direction. It does not consider their needs and the process can vary for every new hire because there is not a system that has the steps

I had to choose one college that interests me and has the career I would like to study. The college that I chose was UC Davis, I think UC Davis is the perfect college for me because it’s the top university for veterinarians. UC Davis also has different courses and majors that I am really interested in. What was also interesting to me was when I really researched the school facts and got to know college students perspectives that attend UC Davis.
