He became one of the leading American architects of his time and designed the Virginia Capitol, the University of Virginia, and his own home, Monticello. He greatly appreciated art and music and tried to encourage their advancement in the United States. He arranged for the famous French sculptor Jean Houdon to come to America to make a statue of George Washington. Jefferson also posed for Houdon and for the famous American portrait painter Gilbert Stuart.

He would always be learning something new which isnt a bad thing but he just learned too much stuff. He also served as too many things. Every couples years after he was done serving one thing he would serve has something else. He should just stick to one thing and serve as it for a while then find someting new instead of changing every five years. He seems weaker than Washington becuase Jefferson seems to be that type of person to never fight for anything hes layed back and go with the flow person which I think doesnt make a leader.

Kennedy greeted the winners of the Nobel Prize to the White House, he stated, “I think this is the most extraordinary collection of talent and of human knowledge that has ever been gathered together at the White House—with the possible exception of when Thomas Jefferson dined alone.”
