Every school day at 7:10 I arrive at Hudson High School's Riverside Parking lot. After taking a left off of Chapin Road I travel in my car three rows back and park on the third left spot in from the left. I park in this spot every day because of one reason I believe we are creatures of habit. This 9-foot slab of pavement has been mine for two school years, and can still recall the day this year when someone decided to take my spot. It was a Monday morning and upon arriving at school I saw that someone decided the third-row third spot from the left was going to be their spot for today. Now, this minute detail threw me into a fit of anger and I remember spending the entire rest of the day looking for the owner of the cream colored corolla that
The 5-2 is typical for high school level and is somewhat widely used at the collegiate level. It consists of two defensive tackles and two defensive ends and a nose guard. It is mostly used as run defense. Nevertheless, this defense can be just as successful against a pass with two or three linebackers and five pass rushers.
Unit 10 was a closure for the previous four units in the process of inventing Canada. This unit based on the earliest resources on Canadian history and on the first nations whom lived in this country. This resources were about pre-Cartier and his explorations. Some nations, for example the people who lived in St. Lawrence valley – whom did not have a specific name to be called at- and historians still lacking enough evidence on their existence or what happened with them. These people who are identified as St. Lawrence Iroquoians were lived in the contact area which means the conquerors reached them first. The Iroquoians were exposed to all the dangers Europeans carried into the native lands, different types of diseases they were not immune
Council Bill 20-409 establishes adequacy by addressing the social concern of marijuana possession in small amounts for personal use. Prior to the bill, individuals were charged with a criminal offense which remains on their permanent record. Having said violation on a permanent record potentially has negative effects on employment status and housing options. The bill, which decriminalizes small amounts of marijuana now provides for individuals caught in possession the opportunity for a self-sufficient life.

I wish to be a member of the National Junior Honor (community of people/all good people in the world) because to be a member of this famous/respected organization means so much to mejust to be invited to be one of its members. I would love to be a member of this (community of people/all good people in the world) because all of my life I have lived by a standard of nothingless than the best and I think by being in this organization it will continue my trip of excellence. All of the activities I have ever participated in I have not done for recognition or praise, the gradesI have received I have not done for recognition. I have just done it because I believe that successcomes before work only in the dictionary. The places I am trying to go and
The Crounse parking lot at West Kentucky Community and Technical College has been a frequently discussed topic among students and faculty. Due to this, we decided to investigate the opinions and thoughts of those who use the lot on a daily basis. Along with this, we decided to observe the frequency of illegal parking on an average day, as well as the frequency of accidents, and parking citations, as a result of illegal parking. We used a variety of methods to collect data and compiled the
More than half of the parking spaces that is close to the academic buildings is reserved for the Professors, however, the number of students in attendance surpasses the faculty. Students have had difficulty and anguish over this decision and think this system is no good. Two of the bad things are, for example, students have to park in the streets which is dangerous or interrupting classes already in progress when they arrive late. Sometimes students are on campus on time, but they have to spend ten to fifteen minutes looking for a suitable parking spot. Andy Gayle is a mechanical engineering student and argue passionately about the parking and think he is paying too much money to Camden County College to have this type of trouble. Therefore, he believes if you are not paying tuition you should not have special parking and that all parking should be on a first come first serve basis. Mr. Gayle concludes that the only designated parking should be for handicapped Professors and students. Even though, his statement is controversial I do agree to an
Humber College North Campus, a home to over 19,000 people and residence to 1,000 students, have decided to expand its premises by building a new building. In doing so they plan on bringing in more students both residential and international, thus increasing the surplus population of its school. We have noticed that while doing so they have decreased the space of parking for both staff and students. If parking spaces are limited to the members of this school now, how do they plan on bringing in more people, who will be coming in from all over the world?
The situation above is something many college students, especially those here at the University of California Riverside (UCR), are well aware of. Although there are tons of parking lots here at UCR, students still struggle to find a place to park. One of the main reasons is because of the increase in students attending across campuses all over the US. According to the National Center for Educational Statistic, “Between 2001 and 2011, enrollment increased 32 percent, from 15.9 million to 21.0 million.” As a result, the amount of parking spaces here at UCR could not compensate for the growing number of students. A lack of parking spaces can cause many detriments toward the students as it can hinder with their class schedules, cause them to either be late or miss a class, and overall affect their grades. If UCR implement a shuttle bus system for the empty parking lots that are far away from the school, students would be less stress about the parking
My first day of senior year had been just like every other year, except my schedule was very basic. The goals I had in mind were mainly outside of my time in school. I had been taking college courses online to better prepare myself for college and to eliminate costs in classes, so I had to make sure I passed all of them. Another goal had been to save money from my job to accomplish personal goals after I exit high school.
My senior year is coming to an end, high school is pretty much over. With the finish line quickly approaching, I reflect on all the things I’ve done in these past four years and, more importantly, all the things I did not do in the past four years that I probably should have. In retrospect, I never did feel like high school was going to be where the best time of my life would be remembered, but now that it’s pretty much over I think maybe I should have treated it like it was. I would love to be able to say there is nothing I didn’t do that I wanted to and that I didn’t have any regrets, but there is a fair share of both. When I think too much about the end, I get sentimental about the experiences, friends, laughs, awkward moments, and more.
Senioritis is a crippling disease that strikes high school seniors. This disease causes laziness, wearing too many pairs of sweatpants, lack of studying, and the famous not caring attitude. Almost all seniors diagnosis themselves with senioritis as soon as half of the year comes to a close but are still excited for what senior year holds. If someone skips senior year, they won’t get the full effect of what senioritis feels like. It’s the year every high school student waits for. Senior year is the year of all the “lasts.” Though senior year may be anticipating, people generally miss their high school years and want to go back even if it was just for a minute. Freshman year students learn to take every opportunity that comes their way. They learn to join clubs, sports teams, and talk to everyone. Sophomore year they learn to not make excuses and have the slap in the face that they only have two
Sometimes it is hard to lead by example. Making good decisions require taking a challenging path. There is peer pressure, sacrifices, and many other components that make leading by example hard to follow through. The other 4 parts in Rachel’s Code of Ethics include loving, forgiving, showing mercy, and helping. However, leading is all of these things. Leaders are the key to any success, which is why leading is the most difficult of the Code of Ethics to uphold.
Adam complains about parking at least three time a day. He is late to economics class every Tuesday and Thursday, and Professor Willis simply cannot take it anymore. Professor Willis told Adam that he needs to wake up earlier in order to get a spot on campus, but sleep is vital to all college students. Sleep should not be compensated for the time to find parking. Adelphi should instead listen to the proposal in this essay, which deals with the plan of action to create more parking spots on campus. Spots are limited, and Adam is not alone. There is a large number of people who have a problem finding a parking spot. Parking is the number one problem on campus for both residents and commuters and a solution is needed. Adelphi has the money and power to create more parking spots on campus by extending both of the underground parking lots. The benefits of extending the underground parking lots will allow for Adelphi to cut down on their shuttle service, permit all students to park on campus, and for less accidents to occur.
Here I go again – driving around this hospital parking garage to look for a parking space. It appears that no matter how early I arrive; I must deal with searching for a parking space. Furthermore, I now realize it is virtually impossible to find parking space near the hospital building entrance. So, I proceed to the top floor of the garage; hopefully, I will find a parking space near the hospital entrance door.
