As I've slowly acclimatize to Trump's America the panic and fear I first felt as Donald was announced president has finally returned to me in full force. Through his usually bragging meeting or "press conferences" would fall onto deaf ears and only being taken as material to laugh about over dinner at the end of the day. But, when the threat to DACA arrived I couldn't help but remember the previous Travel ban that was developed and how it created mass confusion and frustration through out our country. To think that the people I known for years could potentially deported. Can you really say these families deserve that? Sure they didn't originate from America, but neither did most Americans' ancestors. Those families were only doing the same
Is Mayella Powerful in “To Kill a Mockingbird”? Mayella is powerful due to the fact she won in court and was able to have the court convict Tom Robinson guilty of raping her. The way she handled court was not a mature thing to do, but it was smart. She did not only win because she was wise about what she said, but because she was a white female. This played a huge roll in the courtroom and was one of the major components why she won. Mayella had to do what was best for her future, because she did not want to reflect her Dad’s lifestyle in any way. “ One corner of the yard, though, bewildered Maycomb. Against the fence, in a line, were six… jars holding brilliant red geraniums, cared for… tenderly… People said they were Mayella Ewell’s.” This excerpt is from the book and it is trying to explain how Mayella cares for the red geraniums and it shows how she has hope for a better life for herself. She really doesn’t enjoy the way she lives now, with her father harassing her, she wants to be happy. The red geraniums are a symbol for hope. This helps the reader to believe she is not weak, but she is powerful.
President Obama came into office in the aftermath of the disastrous foreign policy record of the Bush administration. The terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 had served as a “switchman,” leading to the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. The Bush administration exercised unilateral use of force and reluctance to engage the international community. As a result global elites and publics viewed the US unfavorably. The US economy was negatively affected by the costs of the wars coupled with the financial crisis of 2007. It was this environment that defined the contours of the election campaign of 2008. Obama campaigned on the idea of change, which represented a regeneration of America through domestic public policy reform and a return to multilateralism in foreign policy. Both domestic and international publics and elites were galvanized by Obama’s message.
Another over reach of power by the Obama administration, he is illegally ignoring congress and magically creates laws, right or wrong, where none existed before. By doing so, he gives zero chance for anyone or any state to debate or object to what he is trying to do, that is why we have a congress.
“Republican and Democratic presidential front-runners Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton have another chance to edge closer to their respective parties' nominations Tuesday as voters go to the polls in the delegate-rich New York primary”.”Pre-primary polls show Trump and Clinton holding comfortable leads, but winning alone is not necessarily enough. Clinton will want a convincing victory to halt rival Bernie Sanders' winning streak and blunt his claims of "momentum" in the Democratic race.”Trump needs to garner more than 50 percent of the statewide vote to have a shot at taking home all 95 of New York’s delegates. Trump has been campaigning heavily in the state with an eye toward that goal, and most recent polls shows him, holding a huge double-digit

The Top 5 Reasons Why He is the Best Candidate to take on the Democrats.
Being intentionally simple, repetitive, self-promoting, and self-prophesizing worked to get Donald Trump elected President of the United States. To win the respect they long for and deserve as well as open the eyes of the public to the current plight of public education in the United States, it would be wise for public school educators to draw on the Trump formula. If teachers and school administrators used the formula relentlessly to get their message across, there is no reason why it shouldn’t work for them as well.
The election was a fraud, it was very unorganized, unprofessional, and not well put together. As I said about the campaigns; they were not very well thought through and very unprofessional. In my opinion, Trump will be a good president because the United States needed a change. Hillary is a politician, that is usually who gets in for president, but the U.S. doesn't need a politician America need a change; a businessman. Yes trump will deport the illegal immigrants and maybe build a ¨wall¨ but that could be a good thing for the U.S.. Seeing that it is pretty easy to get legalized and become a U.S.. citizen this really shouldn't be a problem, if an immigrant does not meet the requirements to become a U.S. citizen then there is probably a good
Going to put in forty hours of work a week and not getting paid? That sounds completely crazy right. Think about it, that is how most college athletes are living. Or are they getting payment with the education they are receiving? Athletes bring in most of the big university’s money, but get nothing.
While America is the land of opportunity, for the past few years the opportunities have been limited. A major decision that Americans are facing currently is who should be president. Before our first black president can leave his 8 year long reign, we must first elect our next head of state. Our two most endorsed candidates have extremely conflicting stances and backgrounds. Hillary is the best candidate for the presidency, considering her experience, platform, and professionalism.
I have been very troubled by Donald Trump’s cabinet appointments it seems that he has no concern for what his nominees have done or what they believe in. everyone that didn’t want trump myself included were pretty upset about his election but we have gotten through the 7 stages of grieving and pretty much accepted the fact that he is going to be our president but then he appoints Steve Bannon to his cabinet. Out of all the people you can appoint why the white supremacist? It just show how racists trump truly is he doesn’t care about what’s best for this country he is only looking out for himself and his rich friends. The fact that trump is considering the CEO of Exxon Mobile show that he will let anyone into his cabinet big oil companies like the
As the 19th century came to a close a new epoch, known as the Progressive Era emerged in response to industrialization. This early 20th century reform movement pursued control of the government to the people. In order to reinstate economic opportunities and to correct inequity in American life. Progressives believed that government could be used as a powerful tool for social improvement (Gillon, Matson 2009). Although the Progressive ideal was presented by numerous Progressive authors of different genre, together they all presented the impact of the economic, political, social, and moral reforms of the American Society.
The thrill of an election is massive. Everything and every action a candidate makes could affect their election chances. This can't be taking slightly, as one mistake could possible clear a candidate’s chance entirely of winning. Hillary already has years of experience, and she's also making more valid/vivid points and decision this Election. Vote Hillary Clinton if you want our nation to progress and come together as one moving forward.
