A leader is not only characterized based on personal qualities, but rather self determination; not only for yourself but for a nation as a whole. Leadership is based on the creation of a positive impact on others. Abraham Lincoln, the 16th president of the U.S expressed his leadership through past experiences as he was turning into an adult that was going to face the world, and unite America. Although Lincoln was not wealthy as a child he was inspired by own personal experiences in which he found the motivation to run as president of the U.S. Eventually, he earned his position into the presidency and created positive changes for the people in order to provide support for the underprivileged. His precision and effectiveness allowed Lincoln to make the case for the Union and the unimaginable sacrifices its preservation required. For Trump, that means the majority of Americans who didn't vote for him. On the other hand president Trump expresses his actions against his subordinates in a discriminating way. Even when Donald Trump was running as a candidate for the presidential election, Trump shared his plans through the press in a disorderly matter. His motives made the people feel cynical and therefore, he did not receive the support he wished to have attained by those who were discriminated against. Trump promised to build the “Great wall” in order to make America a better place. His insults and perspectives towards races have created chaos, the type of chaos that involves injustice. Lincoln however, did not express his motives by creating a negative impact and reputation for himself. Instead of providing benefits for the people Trump has decided to abolish many of the care
