Gun Control Law should be More Strict. In society today, there are many casualties from gun violence cases which are very big social problem. There was shooting in Las Vegas on OCT. 2017 which killed more than 50 people and more than 500 people were injured because of gun violence. Also, there was another mass shooting in Orlando at nightclub by “radical Islamic terrorism” which killed 50 people and lead more than 53 casualties (Brander). Admittedly, some people claimed that they should have the right to ‘self-defense’ which allows possession of guns; however, in modern society there is a host of issues stemming gun violence that threat people’s safety, so gun control should be stricter. Some people claim gun should be control more strictly, but gun control laws will not prevent criminals from gun violence. It is true that there are gun controls laws in some countries: U.S, U.K, Germany, Switzerland and more. It is estimated that in 2015 alone, there were more than 351 mass shootings in the United States. This is a worrying trend that should be reversed as soon as possible. Surprisingly, the trend has divided Americans into two groups. On one extreme end, there are those Americans who believe that the government should enforce gun control. On the other end, some Americans insist that stricter gun controls will not help in the fight against killings.
