Against Abortion
The right to life is the fundamental right that belongs to every human being. We must consider that a human life is a sacred value, from its beginning until its end; therefore, the value of life is entitled to be fully respected. It must defend and promote life, especially when it is weak or threatened. The decision to take the life of a human being is always bad from the moral point of view and should never be licit either as an end or as a means. The controversial issue of abortion is no longer a taboo. Think yourself the growing baby in a womb, expected to have a life outside after a specific period. But then, you are deprived of that life. Abortion is not justified because it’s considered a murder, it’s unsafe, and there are other alternatives to abortion.
The first reason why abortion is wrong is because it’s considered a cruel murder. A murder is to directly and freely take the life of a person by another person. Supporters of abortion argue that a fetus is a human being and that abortion is therefore equivalent to murder (“To what extent...” 6). Women are taking a life and killing a human being. The baby is alive and not just some 'group of cells' abortion doctors call them. People are painfully putting a child to death. It is wrong to think someone has the power to end a life so harmfully. There is no more moral of killing a child after it is born than it is before it is born.
The second reason why adoption is wrong is because it is unsafe for the mother. According to Serrin Foster “In all forms, abortion has masked, rather than solved the problems women face.” Many times,

The issue of Abortions has been a controversy for years now. There are two main groups for this problem, Pro-Life, and Pro-Choice. Pro-Life supports the human rights of life should be embraced, by religion and ethics. Pro-choice is when someone wants to make this choice without no remorse of human life, but because someone wants no part of it raising one.
The Controversy surrounding abortion remains a hot topic of discussion. The question remains whether choosing abortion is murder. What is the rationale behind what leads a woman to terminate her pregnancy? What are the challenges and situations women face that make giving birth to a newborn such an impossible task? A pregnancy that takes place at the wrong place, and time can have a lifelong impact on a woman’s ability to raise her children, and support the family. It seems to be inconceivable that the only way out of an unplanned pregnancy and an impossible-to-negotiate future (Probe Ministries).
Every culture and society does not allow or consider abortion as a rightful act, and abortion is a name of destroying human life. Now a days our society faces several types of issues Abortion is one of the complicated issue for both ways health and society that’s why abortion become a very controversial issue that’s become debatable in politics. In addition, these researches will describe the different issues of abortion, such as, legal laws on abortion, restriction of abortions, rate of abortion and consequences of the abortion.
A woman named Susan had recently found out that her unborn child had Downs Syndrome. She had asked the advice of a professor he had informed her that it would be immoral to have the baby as the baby would suffer and cause her suffering as well. When a woman is faced with the dilemma of having to choose whether to keep a child or abort it, it can become a very hard ethical decision. With this being said, though, we should never take the life of an innocent child. All children are gifts from God and even though they may be born with a handicap or disability that does mean that they do not have the right to live a happy life. There are two options that a woman has and that is to carry the baby to term and give the child up for adoption or carry the baby to term and raise the child herself. There are several people that would love to have a child and are unable to conceive so by giving the child up for adoption this could provide a loving family with a child. If she chooses to keep the child and raise the
Abortion has been a very controversial issue in the United States for the past several decades. Many people think that is it morally wrong. To say that something is morally wrong is an opinion. Since everyone’s opinions are different on this topic there have been many court cases and protests against abortion. However there are a lot of people out there that believe that abortion is a rightful decision. My personal opinion on the abortion controversy is that every woman should have the choice on whether or not they are ready or are capable of raising a baby. Although there are many different choices one can make with regard to whether or not they are ready to raise a child, like adoption, it is still ultimately the woman’s decision on what they want to do. Carrying a child is a very stressful and sometimes painful process. There are a lot of financial decisions, health decisions, and future decisions that have to be carefully thought out before becoming a parent. Parenthood is a life-altering step one must take in life, and abortion is one way that a women can postpone or avoid changing their life in a very extreme way.
Abortion has always been a controversial topic in the United States for decades. Abortion is like taking the life of someone without their permission so it is technically “murder”. There is no such thing as an unwanted child, millions of families in the United States are always willing to adopt. On the other hand, there are circumstances where a woman can barely care and sustain herself so chances are that she will not be able to take care of her child. Or when a rape occurs, having an abortion is not as bad as when a woman has sex without protection and knows she has the chance to get pregnant.
Abortion is a very controversial issue. To first start out abortion is the deliberate termination of a woman’s pregnancy, most often performed within the first 22 weeks of pregnancy. People can either be pro-choice or pro-life for abortion. Being pro-choice means that people believe that it is a woman’s choice to get an abortion if they want one. Pro-life means people believe no matter what if a woman is pregnant they should have the baby; no abortion. I intent to explain why women who get pregnant should have the right to get an abortion, if they so choose to.
Today, people have the right to voice their thoughts regarding a topic, rather they’re different or alike, creating a new philosophy about it, or supporting the traditional belief. In regards to the topic, Abortion has been a subject of controversial matters. Some believing they have the right to do such an act while others would absolutely disagree. Before supporting such an act or not, we typically take into consideration the goods and bads of the action first. While taking a life might be one of the more foreseeable cons of the act, there are good outcomes as-well. Such as, not having said child endure hardship during their life. That child being the difference between a mother having the means to support herself or not. Lastly, that child doesn 't have to suffer more due to the condition of that unprepared parent. No child should be brought into this world only to live a short life and meet the same fate as they would have if they have been aborted. On the other hand, I side with those who agree. Not to be referred to as a “baby killer” but as someone who has an idea of the consequences of copulation, rather it 's intended or in some cases unintended.
The highly controversial matter of abortion has been lurking in and out of many governmental discussions and debates. It has lasted for many decades and was highly practiced until the 1880s when laws and regulations were put into effect. Recently, this topic has been brought up once again and is focused on areas mainly the Southern and Western parts of the United States. Abortion is one of those topics where it can go either way; it’s either pro-life or pro-choice. Both are two very different sides that are so sensitive it can reach out to many people on multiple levels of their emotional and mental state of mind, due to their many religious beliefs. Along with that, it is blown up and mixed in with the negativity of social media and that is a clear the problem and decisions become biased. It comes to these questions that makes me wonder about who should be involved? And why does there have to be only one right choice for abortion and not a neutral side? Or that why can’t abortion simply be accepted by society after many decades of voting and reforming the same laws?
The topic of abortion in the United States has been and remains one of the most controversial issues in western culture and politics. An abortion can be defined as the expulsion of a fetus from the uterus before it can survive on its own. This comprises two major forms of abortion: spontaneous, which is often referred to as a miscarriage or induced abortion, which is the deliberate termination of a pregnancy. The term is commonly used to refer to the induced abortion, and this is the abortion, which has been filled with controversy. The sides involved in the debate are basically divided by party lines, generally with liberals as “pro-choice” and conservatives as “pro-life.” Behind the battles are divergent views on when human life begins,
One of the most controversial issues in American society is the topic of abortion. The options of what you can do with your body seem to just get slimmer and slimmer. However, we find that members of the American society are not the only ones dealing with these issues. Many countries around the world are on the fence on whether or not to ban the option of abortion.
On November 23, 2012, the center for disease control release new abortion statistics for 2009 compared with 2008, the number and rate of reported abortions decreased by 5%. There were an estimated 1.21 million abortions in 2008. You drop the number by 5%, and you still get 1.15 million abortion. The issue of abortion is a very controversial topic anywhere in the world, but in many countries abortion is still legal. Is there a justification for stopping a pregnancy? People think that abortion is a personal decision and that it is their body. The responsibility of what to do with your body is of each person. In other hand,
Every cultural and society does not allow or consider abortion as a rightful act, and abortion is a name of destroy human life. Abortion—what a controversial topic it can be. It is something that people are either for or against and not many in-between. It is a taboo of sorts, but as time goes on, it seems to only be a taboo if you are against abortion, not for it. Mainly because if you are against abortion then you are clearly against women’s rights in general. To be for abortion is “all the rage” these days because our society is so focused on equality, and all things equality. However, while we are fighting for equal rights, we are not even taking into consideration the victims, both of them. Now believe me, I am all about equality for women, after all, I am a woman, but a woman killing her child is not something in the equality battle. In the case of
Abortion is a controversial issue in many countries all the time and there are always two sides of abortion. Pro-life supporters believe that abortion is immoral, so they argue that it should be illegal because an unborn baby is life. However, they do not figure out that woman who is on the inevitable situation such as infection, rape, or extreme poverty would still have the abortion even though the abortion is illegal. Many women die due to unsafe abortion, which is illegal and performed by uneducated people. Therefore, the abortion should be legal to protect the life of ‘alive women’ because women’s life is equal to human’s right. I would like to provide more affirmative bases to support abortion in this paper.
