What was the 9/11?One thing that happened as we all might know was the 9/11.The 9/11 was a terrorist attack that happened in 2001. In New York the twin towers collapsed. The north tower was hijacked first. Many people thought it was an accident. Until another plane hit the south tower. Before the twin towers collapsed people started jumping out of a 1,368 feet tall tower. They obviously died but it was worth a try. Then the south tower collapsed first because it was hit more to the side. Then came down the north tower. For all those who didn’t know what he twin towers where you might know it as The World Trade Center. What happened in Virginia?Well in virginia there was also a terrorist attack;it was in the pentagon.Happened the same day when the twin towers collapsed.Flight 77 crashed into the pentagon.Flight 77 was circling around downtown Washington just after crashing into the west side of the pentagon Almost about 200 people died either in the plan or the pentagon. Flight 93 was hijacked straight into the ground. This terrorist attack happened in Pennsylvania. This plane didn’t plan but decided to crash into the ground even though they were going to die.Flight 93 was going 500 miles per hour in rural field. They knew if they didn't make a decision they could've hurt the White House. On board was about 50 people they all died. This is what happened in Pennsylvania,New York City, and in Virginia.Remembering the loved ones. I've always wonder who attacked us on
It has been 16 years and we have yet to hear a case where skyscrapers collapse in the same manner that the twin towers did. Insiders have reported that the Twin Towers design was constructed so that smaller floors were on top, so how could the smaller floors destroy the bigger floors below them just by fire? In his book titled 9/11: The Simple Facts: Why the Official Story Can’t Possibly Be True, Arthur Naiman states two undeniable facts. First, he makes the statement that “Nothing ever falls into the path of greatest resistance.” Within this claim, Arthur compares the twin towers to a tree. If the top of a tree were to catch fire and burn directly downward through the trunk it may seem plausible. The twin towers contained over 80,000 tons of steel, which is way denser, making it impossible for the towers to fall evenly. His second claim is that “Fires don’t suddenly destroy entire buildings evenly and completely.” He supports this claim by stating that only artificial fires would burn an entire building symmetrically. Given that natural fires leave some objects out, not everything is destroyed. These inconsistencies are crucial in the explanation of the 9/11 conspiracy because they avoid using just theory, actual facts are presented that avoid
Another place what happened at this date is in The Pentagon. The Pentagon was located in virginia. As you not may know The Pentagon is a place for people who is in the military. The airplane was flight 77 this caused 189 people to
On September 11, 2001 four passenger commercial jet airliners were hijacked and as a result approximately 3,000 human lives were lost. When asked about 9/11, many can recall exactly what they were doing when they heard the news that a plane crashed into one of the World Trade Center (WTC) buildings and many Americans can tell you how it all unfolded and the reason behind such a travesty. The “official story” provided by officials, and restated by Sofia Shafquat, producer of “9/11 Mysteries: Demolitions” say that “four passenger planes were hijacked and taken radically off course, within an hour, two of the planes had flown into the enormous steel towers of the World Trade Center, creating fires and eventually toppling them” (Shafquat).
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is the largest, integrated health care system in the United States of America. It is a hierarchical organization led by a secretary, multiple undersecretaries, and three reporting subordinate administrations. The VA is responsible for managing health care, benefits, and services to the almost 20 million veterans of the armed forces.
September 11, 2011, started like every normal day in New York City. People rushing to work, children going to school, and people taking a morning walk or jog. But no one knew that this day would turn into a horror film. A terrorist organization call al-Qaeda hijacked airplanes and hammered them into the World Trade Centers North and South Tower along with the Pentagon in Washington D.C. The September 11, 2001, attacks changed America forever (9/11 Attacks - 102 minutes That Changed America).
On September 11, a series of terrorist attacks occurred that changed America forever. These terror attacks hurt Americans and changed their attitudes toward the safeness of the their country. Four airplanes were hijacked and two of them were crashed into the World Trade Center in New York City. Thousands of people died due to the twin towers collapsing and many other people were wounded. The third airplane ended up crashing at the Pentagon in Washington, killing hundreds of people and the fourth one landed on a field in Pennsylvania.
In Virginia on September 11, 2001 4 planes were hijacked and 1 crashed into the pentagon and the rest crashed into the twin towers. It killed 3,000 people. More than 6,000 people were injured. No one knew this was going to happen and many people were affected.
Lastly, the fourth plane crashed into a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania. The flight that crashed was United 93. The hijackers intended to hit the white house, but passengers rebelled against the hijackers because they were concerned about the president's safety.(complex). Many passengers called family members to tell them what was happening. Forty people were killed in the crash. (simple)
It was a normal day in New York City, with business workers rushing into the World Trade Center. They thought it was going to be like any other day in the office but they were wrong. These office workers were in for the biggest surprise of their life. Planes flown by hijackers crashed into both the Twin Towers, and the Pentagon was hit by a plane as well. Now there is a memorial in New York where the bases of the towers were honoring the people who died that day.
America has experienced some events that has made an impact on all of our lives. Take the attack on 9/11 for example; terrorists attacked the United States using planes. They hijacked four airplanes in mid-flight. The terrorists flew two of the planes into two skyscrapers at the World Trade Center in New York City. The impact caused the buildings to catch fire and collapse. Another plane destroyed part of the Pentagon (the U.S. military headquarters) in Arlington, Virginia. The fourth plane crashed in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. Officials believe that the terrorists on that plane intended to destroy either the White House or the U.S. Capitol. Passengers was the plane fought the terrorists and prevented them from reaching their goal. In all, nearly 3,000 people were killed in the 9/11 attacks. This attack reminded many people of the attack of Pearl Harbor. Both were very catastrophic events that changed U.S. History and America in a way that makes us realize that we need to be strong.
Due to the fairly recent changes regarding the legality of prostitution in Canada, individuals who use and provide these services have been cautious (Warnica, 2015). Unfortunately, new laws may create more problems than benefits, such as, financial problems due to fewer people buying sex because it is illegal to do so. In this paper, I will explicate and assess the new changes to the law regarding prostitution in Canada, arguing that prostitution should be legal in Canada. Prostitution laws vary all over the world. Some jurisdictions are similar to Canada whilst others are extremely different. The United Kingdom is similar to Canada, as acts related to prostitution are illegal but prostitution itself is not. In Germany, Netherlands, and New Zealand prostitution is legal and so are brothels. However, in Argentina, France, Singapore and Greece brothels are illegal put prostitution is. There is no universal agreement on how governments should legislate or regulate prostitution.
September 11th 2001 there was a surprise attack on the United States by terrorists. The terrorists allegedly hijacked four airplanes. One was meant for the White House, one was meant for the Pentagon and the other two were meant for the twin tower which fell and many lives were lost. However some say it was not terrorists and that it was the United States government and that the government set a bomb and that they had several motives to do this.
On September 11, 2001, members of the terrorist group al-Qaeda hijacked four airplanes. At 8:45 in the morning, an American Airlines plane crashed into the north tower of the World Trade Center. Hundreds of people were killed instantly, and hundreds more were trapped in the burning building. It was thought to be only a freak accident. Less than twenty minutes later, a United Airlines plane crashed into the south tower. It was no longer an accident, but an attack. Later on that morning the third plane hit the Pentagon, and passengers overtook the last plane and crashed it into a field in Pennsylvania. The combined damage from all four planes resulted in the deaths of over 3,000 people, and injuries to another 10,000. Only six people who were
September 11, 2001, millions of New Yorkers and American citizens woke up and started their day, unprepared and unaware for the catastrophic attack that would be taking place in just a few short hours. At 8:46 a.m., Eastern Standard Time, Flight 11 crashed into the North Tower. The impact killed all of the passengers and crew as well as hundreds inside the building. At 9:03 a.m., a second plane, Flight 175, crashed into the corner of the South Tower killing passenger, crew, and workers who worked on floors seventy-five to eighty-three. Flight 77 crashed into the Pentagon at 9:37 a.m. killing approximately 185 individuals (History.com Staff). Because of the damaged to the support system, fires, and impact at extremely fast speed, the South Tower collapsed at 9:59 a.m. (Lipton and Glanz). Having heard about the acts of terrorism that had just taken place in New York and Washington, D.C., a group of passengers drove their plane, Flight 93, into a Pennsylvania field killing everyone on board but possibly saving hundreds of other lives in the process. The North Tower collapsed at 10:28 a.m. 102 minutes after being struck (History.com Staff). On September 11, 2001, almost twelve hundred people were wounded or killed by “coordinated suicide attempts” by Al Qaeda terrorists. In result to the four airplanes being hijacked and used for premediated reasons, the United States government instituted new regulations for entering the country and airport security as well as expounded on systems already in place.
