The role of Legislators and courts have played in the Texas Education System has been miserably unsuccessful. Citizens have been concerned about the education of their young for years. The reason is that it has failed to establish any public system of education that is equal to all students, which seems to be redundant and keeps rearing its ugly head in Texas history. Public education has to meet the needs of Texas students. Public education in the Texas will play a major role in shaping of our state in the future. The schools in low income have often assumed the position of unjust, while children in better schools enjoy the luxury of a solid education. Texas should be educating students, not battling in court. Educational opportunity funding cases led to improvements in the state’s funding system. The funding system inequitable, inadequate, and unconstitutional. The people's representatives to this perpetual cycle of litigation.
Texas needs to work toward the aim of effectively funding the Texas education system constitutionally and satisfactory. The Texas school system failed to meet constitutional requirement to educate all children and the courts still have the same ruling with nothing being changed. The ruling ensuring quality education, and funding for the school children of Texas, is sufficient and improves the situation for education. Texas needs a system that gives the students and taxpayers a just school funding, which spends the money in schools that need it the most and not based off your zip code.
If the current system not the administration calculates that the annually will increase as a chance to reinforce the district where it needs the assistance. While increased funding not necessarily equate to improvements in student performance, it’s funding and where it is clearly needs to be addressed.
