I am pleased to provide this recommendation on behalf of Ms. Sarah Albanna. I believe she is an outstanding candidate for a teaching assistant position.
I have known Sarah for approximately three years. I had the pleasure of observing Sarah as a student in my class here at NAU. Ms. Albanna has modeled the requisite characteristics of continual engagement, effective inter-personal skills and leadership.
I understand Sarah is an excellent teacher. Not only is she able to plan lessons that are engaging, instructive and developmentally appropriate, she uses an assortment of strategies to monitor and evaluate subject mastery.
In my class, I was able to witness Sarah as a conscientious, focused and able team member. She is well organized,
Her knowledge of several different subject has been a huge advantage to our entire office where she put these skills to work to always achieve any task given to her.
Peyton takes her academics seriously, which is apparent when he speaks to me about her courses. Possessing strong time-management skills, she strives to improve each year. She has developed
I was introduced to Lauren in the fall of 2016 during the UCSCSA registration process. A snowboard competitor and engineer major, Lauren were starting her Senior year at The Ohio State University (OSU) In addition, Lauren was the new President of the schools Ski and Snowboard club, one of the largest USCSA programs in the Midwest. It became apparent to me how intelligent, organized and hardworking Lauren was. She recruited team members of all disciplines,
As a volunteer Ariana far exceeds what we ask of her. She does not need any instruction and goes out of her way to ensure all site expectations are being met. The students really look up to her and they simply levitate towards her charisma. Ariana has also taken it upon herself to work with intervention students to help them succeed. She has been a great asset and support to our team from the beginning. Ariana continues to demonstrate valuable abilities when working independently with students. Her strengths are seen in the administrative aspects of volunteering, knowing how to handle complex paperwork and dealing with issues that appear in the workday.
Amanda Densmore is the most patient and altruistic teacher that I know. Never once did she shout at my eighth-grade class at Zion Lutheran school. Mrs. Densmore may have become irked with our class on many occasions, but rarely did she show this emotion. Unlike other teachers, she never raised her voice when we were being disrespectful. Instead, she spoke in a softer tone. Our eighth-grade teacher would wait for us to listen to her. Actions speak louder than words. She taught us this on multiple occasions without having to say anything.
Whitney was enrolled in a few of my courses during her time at the University of Alabama. She was a non-traditional student who transferred from an on-campus university to the distance program at UA. Whitney’s assignments were always turned in on time and displayed her critical thinking skills. During group projects, Whitney was able to positively contribute to assignments by providing well thought out and reasonable responses. She also showed initiative during group assignments by completing additional work beyond what was originally asked.
I am confident that Mrs. Smith will be an asset to any classroom. She is knowledgeable, confident,
I have known and worked with Alicia Roman since 2003 and have previously recommended her for other teaching positions based on her broad knowledge and experience.
No doubt Ms. Purkey has the readiness of an experienced classroom teacher. For instance, I was there when her Master teacher, Suzy Pratt had to leave suddenly due to a tragic event. Though deeply concerned for Mrs. Pratt, Emily responded to the circumstance by seamlessly
In all my years of experience, some people stand out for their great qualities and Amy is one of those people. She is well known for her positive attitude, teamwork and leadership skills. She is well respected throughout the organization for her ability
Josie is a very active participant in all class discussions and activities. She contributes insightfully and often takes our discussions to another level. During one group activity, Josie was able to explain the properties of function reflections using sine and cosine as examples. She also is very supportive and inclusive of others and always listens thoughtfully to the contributions of her peers. Josie is the perfect person to get a group project rolling, but she also knows how to sit back and let others take the
It is my pleasure to recommend Mrs. Jordan Vicknair as one of the Best Teachers I know! Mrs. Vicknair demonstrates an exceptional commitment to excellence in education, sincere loyalty to our school system, and dedication to the success of all of her students. . Her desire to help each student become the best they can be is evident through her thoughtful attitude, high expectations for academic achievement, and strong instructional support for all students. Mrs. Vicknair is also a leader at her school, supporting teachers through grade level collaboration, as well as a member of the district literacy professional development
Earlier this year, Dodge City Schools requested recommendations for their nomination of the Master Teacher of the Year honor. Immediately my mind riveted on one outstanding instructor, Laura Woolfolk. Laura is a colleague of mine in the English Department at Dodge City High School, and I often say that one of my goals in life is to become her. While that may sound somewhat flippant, to those who know Laura, they know that task is monumental and unachievable. Laura is all things good. In life. In community. In school. In person. For those reasons, it is an honor to work alongside her on a daily basis, and it is more than deserving that she receives our school’s nomination for the Master Teacher of the Year.
A teacher who keeps on teaching is a gift that keeps on giving. Retired high school teacher Suzanne M. McDowell was selfless by nature as most educators are. Even after leaving her desk job as an economics and business teacher, she continued to enlighten minds and uplift souls. Bold, beautiful, and beloved Suzan taught more than how to be successful in business but also successful in life. The lessons she taught whether of love or taxes, generosity or inflation, stay with those privileged enough to have met her.
Without hesitation, I would say that Alexandra is the true embodiment of our organization's core values, especially that of Transformational Change and Diversity & Inclusiveness. During my first meeting with Alexandra, she shared an ambitious personal vision that she really believed would put her students on expanded pathways. As someone who is very passionate about Early Childhood Education, she is really rallying her students around the importance of investing in their education by becoming lifelong learners. She drives her vision home by adding a level of critical thinking to each lesson and challenging her students to understand how their daily goals are connected to something bigger. As an observer, I have seen this vision translate into student action when they reflect in groups and on their own.
