Throughout the adventure of the “team”, many items appear continuously, perhaps the most interesting one being doors. What makes doors interesting in The Hobbit, is that they are always presented at times of action or of great importance. In fact, without doors, the “team” may end up being lost or killed. Doors develop the character of Bilbo, and are the gateway to action and important scenes in The Hobbit by serving as the most important item regarding the pursuit of the treasure.

Marie’s experience with radio was a good one. She listened to a lot of soap opera style radio shows. Rosemarie was the name of a program she enjoyed. The Squeaking Door was more of a mystery based program. She would listen to the radio in the evening after supper with her family. Her family would listen to the radio and read. Food commercials were big in her time. She recalls hearing the Pepsi commercial on air a lot. She also said cereal commercials were a big advertisements. She states static being the biggest problem with radio.

This case study addresses the accessibility of health care to all Americans. One of the biggest questions is if healthcare should be a "public good or a private privilege" (Pg. 239). Not every American has the opportunity to receive health insurance and consequently they incur high medical bills that often cannot be paid. In this case, Washington Memorial Hospital is facing bankruptcy and possible closure due to uninsured patients and unpaid medical treatments. In order to keep the hospital open, emergency funds must be accessed, health workers will have their salaries cut, and many employees will be laid off. People without health insurance often use public hospitals, and therefore these hospitals are in need of more financial support from the government.

Roomba is designed by the iRobot company to clean the house with its sensors and other tools without the assistance of humans. Specifically, the roomba is activated through the power button, which sends its wandering aimlessly, being limited by the touch and RCON sensor, as it cleans the floors with its brushes installed. The sensors confine the roomba to a specific room in order to prevent the roomba from falling off the stairs or being blocked by obstacles.
