I am a freshman at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, majoring in entrepreneurship and marketing. On campus I am involved in business/PR club, entrepreneurship club, College Republicans, zumba club, and KSMR-Radio club. During my senior year of high school, I began to worry about what my life would be after high school. I knew I wanted to pursue my dreams of furthering my education and obtaining a college degree, yet had no idea what I wanted to become. After researching several careers, I decided I’d attend community college, obtain my medical assistant certificate enabling me to work in the health care field, which would then help me determine exactly what it is that I wanted. Luckily, I took a variety of college courses in high school which allowed me to finish the medical assisting program in one year, instead of two years; which is typical of a community college. I received a job offer at the facility I did my externship and began working a month after graduation.
Staring down at the baby; my baby in his little plastic box, I was overcome by a fear I had never felt before. I would later find out that his box was called and isolate, a special bed for premature babies. His eyes were covered with gauze, he had a tube in his nose that was assisting his breathing, and he was so small. Awestruck, I watched his slight movements. His mouth moved as if he was searching for something. His tiny hands grasped for something to hold on to. I slowly reached my finger to his hand and he clutched it with all of his little might. His grasp sent shock waves of love through my body that I had never experienced in my life. I was a mother.
Before I enrolled in the medical assisting program at Milan Institute, I was working as a medication technician. I decided to go back to school to provide a better future for myself and family. While in the program, there were many times when I wanted to quit but, my support team is very strong and wouldn’t let me.

When calling my doctors office to make an appointment I already have many expectations running through my head. I expect the nurse to be polite and professional, I expect her to ask important questions while trying to work around my schedule. I make appointments for my family and I, so I know what to if the role was reversed. Because most people know what to expect this could really come in handy if your studying to be an MA. The medical assistant will ask many questions to better serve you. First thing the staff does is answer the phone, no longer then three rings, and greets you with a smile in their voice. Secondly they will ask what is the reason for being seen and what would be the best time for you to do so. The sole purpose is to get you seen by a specific doctor at a time that works for the both of you, as well as getting all the necessary information.
In 5 years I see myself working as a Certified Nurse Assistant at the best hospital in New York. I want to work hard until I get the highest pay for CNA.I will save my money so I can get my citizenship paper. Being an American citizen will help me to bring my mother in this country faster. I would like to rent a condo with at least 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom so that when my mother comes to New York she will have her own room and bathroom. She will sit back and relax because she don’t have to work .I will take this opportunity to show her how much I really care for her and repay her for bringing me to this earth even though she did not raise me .I would like to save money so I can open a restaurant and give it to my mother so she would run it.I

The picture that I envision for myself is possibly working as a director of services for one of the retirement homes in my area. I am currently applying for areas of sales and service. I cannot completely run or manage a retirement or nursing home with the proper licensing in my state. By moving into a center at this level I can learn some of the aspects of the business before I get the necessary licenses or certifications.
I would love to have the opportunity to become a Resident Assistant because I see the many benefits of it. One of them is learning new things, along with meeting new people. Since there are so many different things like cultures and personality’s coming together I know that I would only learn more. I would love to be support system for students, the thing that is most important to me is making myself open to them. I want them to feel like they can talk to me about anything they want. I would say that that is one of my strengths I care a lot. That makes people tell me a lot of their problems, which I love. There is so much that I can get out of being a Resident Assistant however, there is so much that I want to give first, being a safety net for student, teach them about bullying, and help them as they make their way through college and life.
At different times throughout my life I have envisioned myself as a cardiologist, a surgeon, or one of many other specialized physicians. However, these specializations all lacked the flexibility I sought to address the myriad of health care concerns. By becoming a physician assistant, I will use hands-on experience, practical medical education, and teamwork to diagnose and treat a variety of health concerns that the nation faces.
The men and women of our country’s armed forces currently serve, as they always have, without hesitation or reservation in over 63 countries worldwide. They willingly deploy or relocate on a continual basis, fighting for our safety and defending our freedoms. It is therefore paramount that they receive the highest quality healthcare available for them to fulfill their duties successfully and return home to lead a normal life. As the daughter of a disabled veteran, I have seen firsthand the importance of delivering superior care when it is most needed. There is a direct correlation between waning recruitment, decreasing retention and the overall welfare of the military with the ability of our armed forces to continue to maintain the security
Why do you want to be a Resident Assistant? What skills do you possess that would make you a good candidate for the position? *
Each time I am asked why I chose the medical and more specifically to become a doctor, I tell the interviewer that it looks like fun. Am I crazy? Some may think my head might not be attached correctly. The student loans I will acquire, the amount of time and effort it takes, and the overwhelming schedule is enough to scare any normal person away. But some rare people are out there to make the seemingly impossible be more than possible. I became a certified nursing assistant as soon as I turned 16 with the hopes of becoming a nurse in my future. After working and helping patients, I couldn’t dream of not becoming a nurse. The relationship you establish with someone you are helping can be so influential. Over the last year I have worked with
