Two years ago over Christmas break I went to Arizona. I had a great time and I was having a great time. We went to a couple NHL games and they were really cool. We saw a lot of Phoenix and the cities surrounding and we did some work while we were down there. The longer I was there the more fun it seemed to be. The amount of fun and excitement I endured wasn't even close to equivalent the excitement I felt when my Grandma told me what we were doing the coming Sunday. My Grandma called my mom the same time she told me because my mom didn’t know. Finally, after all the things we did and to top it off, my Grandma said we are going to a Cardinals game. I had never been to a Cardinals game. I was so excited because they were doing good and they
I can’t believe my first college semester is almost over. Key word is “almost” because the weeks following thanksgiving break will be critical for me. Even though it’s almost over, I must finish strong. I wouldn’t want all my hard work to go to waste. All the A’s that I earned so far must remain A’s for me in order for me to be happy with my academic performance. These next 3 weeks are going to be hectic, but also relaxing.
During Thanksgiving Break this year, I went to Flagstaff, Arizona. That was the best memory because I can’t choose one specific one! :) I had so much fun in Arizona, and this is what I did.
For a college student, there’s no feeling quite like the joy of heading home for Thanksgiving break (1-Archetypes). Sure, Christmas break is longer and definitely has more presents, but Thanksgiving break is at just the perfect time in the middle of the semester; right before the chaos of finals and right when the agony of missing home is starting to become unbearable. I definitely felt this way during my first semester away from home. The days leading up to the break were full of exciting jitters and anticipation. Finally, just a day before classes officially let out for the break, my mom and brother pulled up to my dorm after their nine-hour drive to Alpine, Texas, ready to pack me up and haul me back to Houston.
During winter break, I didn't do a lot of things although I did spend my time wisely enough to do the things that I was planned to do during the break. Most of the time that I have was for family, and some extra time for games. Since my older brother came back one week before my final, I did have a lot of times having fun with him and my parent. My older brother did stayed with me the whole break, and he left on Saturday to go back to UCLA, which was two days before I came back to school. I think that my break was great, and I didn't do a lot of things, but I think that I did achieve all of my goals for the winter break. My best part of the break was when me and my family walking down the street of San Francisco, and during that trip I got
the fist thing i did on Christmas break was go to my uncles house to have a new years party.we had finger foods ping pong, and lots and lots of chicken nuggets. Are family is really competitive so we went up stairs and payed q tennis challenge at first it was 2v2's then it was 1v1's the it was family vs family.if someone lost they would be really mad and throw a fit that they lost.Mos to f the people were really out of it at the party.
When everyone comes back from the seven day break all you hear is how awesome it was, or how they went on vacation with there loved ones and experiensed a new adventure. Therefore, you don't hear about the horrible time others have on the break. People rathert hear about the fun other had then say theres sucked.
On the last day of the semester, I was still a bit sick, but I had to take my exams. After I finished and corrected the language arts exam, I got a 90 and I was happy. I texted my dad and he came and got me from school. When I got home, I slept for an hour. Then most of the break was playing on my computer.
I had a great summer break. I did a whole bunch of fun things over summer break. I traveled to cedar point we rode all the rides there. We climbed on another ride till there was no more rides. We almost rode them twice it was so much fun to go to cedar point. Then we played games where you can win stuffed animals and toys. They had a place where you can buy food and drinks. We left at elven o clock didn’t get home till twelve o clock at night. Next as soon as I got home we went to bed. I will go all the time we will travel to cedar point. I am going to go next summer to when we get off again. We also went on a train to look around at cedar point. My sister and I rode all of the rides. My mom and dad didn’t ride all of them they just watched
I'm glad to know that you like my gifts. I hope the notepad I gave you will help you be more organizing. Here at Texas A&M we have quite a lot of traditions and it’s impressed me to know that you learn several of our traditions only on your first visit.
Each year my family celebrates X-mas by taking us to to place where we can eat and then they give us our presents. Each year I always asked for money because I like money and I want to start saving up to as much as I can.On X-mas we went to Reno to celebrate X-mas and we also got to see snow, P.S it was my first time seeing snow.I was very happy that day and I want to go to Reno again for X-mas so I can go see the snow. This year we actually ate food for Thanksgiving because we were actually not lazy enough to not do anything. When I have my own family I want to go to places we haven't been to and do stuff we haven't done.
The weeks between Thanksgiving and winter break can make or break a student's semester grades. And for college freshmen, this period may be the first-time students experience final exams or projects, when it's already easy to get distracted with the holidays right around the corner. Your grade in a class has the potential to change significantly in the last few weeks of the semester. Here are some tips for acing finals (and doing well in the weeks prior):
My winter break was very interesting because we traveled much more than we normally do. This is because we went to the ASU game in El Paso, which was special because we almost never travel outside of Arizona or New Mexico. For Christmas, we opened presents. I got a drone with a camera and a robotics kit. The next day, we left town to visit our grandma and grandpa in Duncan AZ. Most of our family was there and we had Tamales and Chiles for dinner, which tasted great, even though we are not of Hispanic ancestry. I got out my drone, but I didn’t have much time to fly it because the day was fading away from us because of arriving late. We slept at our grandparents’ house for the night. The day after that, I flew my drone a bit more and then we
I believe that we should not have homework by Christmas break because we need a break from homework we get good grades, We try are best all the time. You will agree with me after you read my essay.
My Christmas break started off really relaxed and not really doing much and for the most part, just little things preparing for the big day when Christmas actually comes. We have to clean house because my grandma comes over and my mom thinks that everything has to be perfect. Christmas is my favorite time of the year because I get tons of new toys and get to spend a lot of time with family. Every year a couple days before Christmas my family gets to drive to Belton to get to spend time with my granny and have a little Christmas there with her.
All schools have a break; whether, it is summer or spring break. Most people look forward to the week of spring break. Where everyone goes insane. Personally, I believe spring break is an extraordinary way to let loose and relax. My spring break was relaxing; therefore, I feel animated to return to school.
