To learn this week’s material, answer the discussion post, program the programming assignment, and get a good grade on the self-quiz, I studied the learning material for almost 6 hours a day. I find if fun to sit down with the learning material, which was chapters one and two, and take notes during all my free-time.
My reactions to the learning material chapters one and two are so much information, that I didn’t have enough time to read the optional learning material, or watch the optional video lectures. Chapters one and two are more than 100 pages of reading material; however, I did have time to read the NetBeans tutorials.
I’m still waiting for feedback to my discussion posts. I may have gotten my discussion post done early. There were only 3 or four other discussion posts posted previous to me entering in my discussion response in the discussion forum. However, I gave these three other students responses posts to their discussion posts, where I gave good grades for using learning material vocabulary and learning material insight to what the definitions of four operators are(“++”, “!=“, “&&”, and “%=“).
I’m a little dis-heartened right now. The reason for my discouragement is my computer may have a glitch. Certain mathematical operations are fouled up by some malicious code, and when I multiply variables by 10 (in Netbeans and other IDEs), I get erroneous decimal places added onto my figures.
This week, I learned how to setup NetBeans, how to discern basic fundemental programming blocks of java, how to setup java variables, how to control the flow of execution with branches and loops, how to test for conditions with operators, how to build classes, how to use installed classes like String and Math, how to use installed subroutines with string and Math, what the size of primitive data types are(short, int, long, float, double, char, and ), how to use enums, etc. …almost too much to list in one paragraph, here.
What causes me to wonder is the built in methods of the String function, the built in methods of the Math library, and string formatting options. I want to make a website out of these built in classes and their subroutines. If I mastered these classes and subroutines, I would be a better
Directions for Part 1: Students will be given 5-7 minutes to read each document and answer the guided reading questions. After each allotted time is up allow students to compare answers with a partner for 1-2 minutes. (This will be done for both Document A and Document B)
In the book As I Lay Dying by William Falkner. The mother, Addie, is dying and she wants to make sure her dying request is fulfilled. She wants to be buried with her family in a nearby town called Jefferson. She also want her coffin to be well built so Cash, her son, builds the coffin right outside her window. When she dies the family starts their expedition to bury her.
I recently discovered that there was a lot of programming concepts that I use on daily basis but I did not fully understand. Now, learning in a structured way I realize some details I missed learning by myself.
The study materials worked out for me. From the lesson is a basic overview and read the book for specific details.
Finally the self-quiz which I think is the best way to measure how much have you learned during the week.
This movie, The Classroom, which was very interesting to watch, discusses all that goes on in the school system, the good and the bad. But it also shows how things at home can affect the way the student acts during the school day. This movie definitely makes you look at students that act out differently, instead of punishing them maybe we should all look deeper into the issue and find a way for the student to thrive and use school as an outlet.
My time spent in the Clinical setting, so far, has been extremely inciteful as to how to become a better educator in a classroom setting. Through the data I collected I was able to connect Borich’s Seven Variables of learning to the students. By being in the clinical setting for nearly two months, I have been exposed to new ways of thinking when it comes to structuring a classroom and instructing a classroom. Within this reflection you will find out how I would better plan an effective lesson for the pupils in my future classroom. You will also discover what I will do about certain issues in the classroom and how I will address/fix them.
Though I am excited for this class, I know that it is a great deal of work and that it will not be easy. In conclusion, I have reviewed the grade distribution in the class, and how without participation, doing very well in the class will not be an option, the various resources that Professor Frasure has shared to ensure our success in the class, and finally the means of communication between the professor and the students. After reviewing these things, I am hopeful to do well in the class, and prepared to work hard in order to earn my
Q5: Tell me, the professor, how this course is going for you so far? How do you find the material?
From the first two weeks, I have learned a lot. The new information I learned was from the guided reading I did. The guided reading was really learning but it was a review and refreshing session. The guided reading gave me a refresher on pre- Colombian times, I already had the idea of it, the guided reading was just more practice. Such as the fact I have heard a lot of different theories on how populated North America, but the most commonly accepted theory is the Land Bridge. I also learned that during the Confederate Reconstruction Whites in Hinds River, Mississippi killed an average of one black person a
The greeks made mythology way before the romans did, but in some point in time, the romans come alone and decided to change all their hard work and change it into their own .Thats probably why there is Roman and Greek. Zeus and Jupiter Zeus and Jupiter is a good example,(Zeus-greek,Jupiter-roman) He is one of the big three*They are both kings of the gods, gods of lightning and their sacred animal is an eagle. but the difference is that Jupiter is the god of light and victory. In the very beginning when Cronus ruled, he gave birth to , Demeter, Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Hera, Hestia.
So far I have been enjoying this course, but I will admit that I have not spent as much time on reading the chapters as I should have. I have been a little distracted by all of my other classes and on top of that now, I have been focusing more on the test, case study, and presentations that are coming up very soon. It is all very overwhelming, because there are so many assignments due in a short amount of time, I pushed the readings to the very last thing that I worry about, which I know will not help me learn the material. I have reread over two chapters; chapter five, and nine. Chapter five is the chapter my group and I will be presenting so I want to make sure I know that chapter well. Chapter nine was not my strongest area when we practiced
Read the text (translation) paras. 1-38 for Week 4, before your tutorial; watch the first half of the documentary in class, then answer the questions at end.
Health problem is a pathological state, in which a physical condition caused by the disease. To make the person free from the diseases is the main goal of the Health promotion program. Now I am interested to discuss about on epidemiological case i.e. HIV/AIDS, which is more common in world wide. And more dangerous which spoils the person’s life knowingly or unknowingly and I want to create awareness regarding this disease mainly in rural areas and use important health promotion programs to create awareness and make people free from this disease. This creates the hazarders condition in global population worry and make person to away from family, community, or society because of some beliefs in community.
Teaching can be a challenge, you never know what to expect and each classroom will be unique. However, you will always have to be prepare for teaching in a situation you may not be comfertable with. Educating students and practicing proper knowledge on subjects such as race, class, gender, sexual orientation and disability are vital in creating a safe and respectful classroom for all. School is often looked upon as a place of security for students and it is our job as teachers to help maintain that status.
