Recycling is a great idea .Americans already recycle at hight rate,which is around 95%.That is one of the main reasons they oppose the GatesburgGoGreen Initiativee.they want the new law to take place,the plan is simple,

Imagine a world cluttered with trash, once beautiful beaches and parks now overflowing with garbage. Roads no longer driveable, air no longer clean. Masks will be worn, and disease is on the rise. Now, imagine if you could have prevented this. I believe recycling is the first step. As of 2006 America is in the lead for producing the most waste, producing 236 million tons annually. Not only are we producing the most waste but by 2100 scientists estimate the amount will triple which will have serious effects on the Earth. Both physical effects and fiscal which means public services and government budgets will be impacted. Our planet is already feeling the effects of pollution at the rate we're going we won't be able to stop the damage nor repair

Paper recycling, on the other hand has been around for much longer. Pulp and paper plants in Canada have been using recycled material for more than 60 years (Bourdages, 1993, para. 4). One of the most obvious environmental benefits of using recycled paper materials, is that it will help to reduce the amount of trees being cut down for production of new paper. Overall, it is evident that there is an established recycling effort in Canada, featuring both positive and negative aspects.

Many people go through their day not even thinking about recycling and what it can do for our environment. We, the school, could absolutely benefit from a recycling program. So many people think that recycling is a waste of time and how the energy it takes to recycle is equal to the amount it takes to simply throw your trash away. They don’t actually think about the positive effects it could have to the school. This is why putting a recycling program in Mount Juliet High School can not only help our environment as a whole, but can also help us see the reality of what recycling can do.

Over the years, recycling has been apart of the american community, but recycling has been costly and has been causing more pollution to the united states than recycling it self. I think that the recycling in the united states should be abolished because, the pollution produced by the collection trucks and the recycling process itself creates more emissions and it’s more expensive and takes more energy and water to recycle old paper than to cut down and process pine trees and then plant pine seedlings.

Each Friday, my family takes out their trash to be picked up and hauled off to who knows where, and every other week the same goes for our recyclables. But how much is truly recycled, and how do we fare against other countries? We, as Americans, should learn from across the pond and recycle more of our waste instead of throwing it away to a landfill.

Recycling doesn’t affect people that much, but it does affect wildlife and animals. Like the six pack rings, soda comes in, fish get caught in it and they die. Another thing is plastic bags get thrown into the ocean and turtles mistake it for jellyfish, eat it and die. Recycling has been around for thousands of years, but we still need to recycle even though people thought of this a long time ago. A consequence is the New York City Landfill. Another consequence is that farmers in Wisconsin and Minnesota are just now starting to recycle. Minnesota and Wisconsin farms produce 60 million to 80 million pounds of plastic every year, but until now they had no way to get rid of it besides throwing

People Need to Recycle In the United Sates, where the population is inflated every year. The amount of space for landfills decreases every day. The need for recycling should not be asked, it should just be done out of habit. Everyone in America needs to recycle, to help the lamdfill problem, help the environment, and help produce new products from recycled goods. In America there is about two-hundred and eight tons of residential and commercial trash generated a year, 4.3 pounds per person a day (Prichard 1A). This is an overwhelming amount of trashed produced yearly. When people recycle this number can be drastically cut. But many people do not practice and use

recycling campaign. The only way to do that is to help make recycling appeal to more of the vast student population that currently attends our University. How might this be done? The University already places a recycling bin in every dorm room around the campus; anything more would exceed the current funding for the recycling project. Perhaps the institution of a recycling center at the Russell House could cause the impulse to become a habit. But, that would take too much money--with the salaries of workers and the annexing of what would amount to a new wing of the building--to consider for too long. Another solution could be to have the students elect a "recycling committee" to evaluate the problem and decide on the appropriate solution. However, I feel that with the current lull in our recycling campaign, even that would be ineffective. As an altrenative to these two solutions I propose that we, as students and faculty united, institute a plan that is so simple it is already in place in many of the high schools around the state. I propose a system of rewards.

These days, our earth has been filled by a lot of waste. There is a lot of garbage, plastic waste, and electronic waste. We always produce it and dump it when we need the new one. Our waste are piling up and continuously accumulating. Plastic waste is one of the biggest problems for us now. And our solution in this problem is recycling. In my opinion, recycling is a way to manage used items into new products. We can reduce, reuse, and recycling (3R) waste management (Peter, 2013). We can reduce our waste clothes with reuse it. There are some reasons why peoples recycle used or unwanted items, which are, prevent wasting unusable materials that still have usage after recycled, reduce the application of raw materials, reduce energy

I propose Broken Arrow High School put recycling bins on campus. The current recycling policy at BAHS is nonexistent. Paper, water bottles, milk cartons, and plastic are being thrown away into non-recycling bins. BAHS should provide the recycling bins so that we can reduce the amount of waste sent to landfills, conserve natural resources, save energy, reduce greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to global climate change and also help the school budget by reusing the things that are reusable. Not only as a senior at BAHS but as a human being I believe we should take care of our planet, and being at such a big school I am confident we can truly make a difference here and that starts with recycling. As a rule recycling is good for the environment and as simple as throwing your plastic water bottle into the correct bin. Due to lack of recycling opportunities on campus Broken Arrow High School should provide recycling bins in order to save the environment and help the school budget.

To begin, recycling helps minimize pollution. Go outside, can you see the stars? If not, it’s because of pollution. A major contributor to air pollution is the burning of waste that is sent to landfills. In fact, if recycling levels increase to 75% in the United States, it will have the same effect on carbon dioxide levels as if 55 million cars were removed from U.S. roads every year (Recycle). Recycling helps to reduce waste sent to incinerators, and thus reduces air pollution. Even through the processing of recycled items, pollution is lessened. For instance, studies show that "recycled paper produces approximately 70% less air pollution than if it was made from raw materials" ("Forty"). Air pollution both harms the earth and the people on it by contributing to global warming as well as respiratory diseases. That’s why every time people reduce waste, reuse, and recycle their garbage, they save the earth and even millions of lives from the harmful effects of pollution. Overall, requiring recycling will allow pollution rates to plummet and the environmental state of the earth to improve.
