If you've never touched a video game controller in your life, but do have avid players in your household, you may be in for a bewildering month. That's because we're on the verge of what the gaming industry excitedly calls 'a new console generation'. In short, the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, once the most powerful games machines on the planet are being replaced – the former by the Xbox One, the latter by the PlayStation 4 (PS4).
All you really need to know is that both the PS4 and the Xbox One represent a significant leap over their predecessors. Some people in the industry are suggesting that the Xbox One and PlayStation 4

Both offer advanced online functionality. The use of cloud computing, which connects your console to remote servers on the internet, may mean we see a new era of games which have huge online worlds that players can explore together, and that seamlessly grow and evolve over time. We may see game processing tasks like physics and artificial intelligence being 'outsourced' to the cloud, meaning we see much more advanced simulations and life-like computer-controlled enemies. It's a truly exciting time.
Right now, it looks like PS4 is the most powerful console, but developers may well learn to exploit the Xbox One in new ways. It's unlikely you'll be making your buying decision on hardware specifications alone.
Xbox One and PS4 are promising lots of entertainment options that will let you watch movies and listen to music on your console, as well as playing games. They both have deals with video-on-demand providers like LoveFilm and Netflix, and there will be "free" TV services like YouTube, iPlayer and 4oD.
Right now, Microsoft seems more ambitious in this area. It has been showing off how you'll be able to connect your cable or satellite set-top box to Xbox One, letting you control your live TV viewing pleasure through your console and also adding new social and interactive features to the experience. However, right now, a lot of those options are only
Yes Xbox one is Way better than Ps4 because there are Way more people that have and Xbox one Console than a Ps4 console. The Graphics on an Xbox one console is way better than the Graphics on the Ps4 console. The Streaming on Xbox one is way better than the Streaming on Ps4 Streaming. Also the feel of an Xbox one Controller feels right in anybody hands other than the feel of and Ps4 Controller in somebody hands. The Xbox one is also so easy to plug in and move it around and plug it back up to any place and start back playing.
The interface for the Xbox one is excellent because of how organised it is. On the Xbox you can easily find your games, social media, and the store. The Xbox one when you go from one app to another you hear a nice calm whooshing sound that isn’t annoying or can get stuck in your head. That is the exact opposite with the Playstation the sound is a bloop it is very annoying and it can get stuck in your head. Another great feature is the keyboard on the Xbox one it is very easy access. The keyboard on
The Playstation 4 has a variety of better games than the Xbox One. As stated by trustedreviews.com, “Sony has its own set of exclusive games which won’t be available on the Xbox One.” Also stated by trustedreviews.com, “Given that many multi-format games, arguably offer higher quality performance on the current PS4 than the Xbox One already.” This evidence shows how Playstation 4 games are better than the Xbox One games
As sales of Nintendo’s Wii and DS dominate the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and PlayStation Portable, respectively, the pressure continues to mount on Sony and Microsoft to move to the next level in the ongoing console wars. Sales of the Wii in 2008
They both provide titles like Call Of Duty, GTA 5, and Fortnite. Usually games are playable on both consoles with the same experience and features. While playing, the objectives and stories of the game stay the same. Providing emotions that make you laugh and blood boil. Both consoles are able to party up and play the same games.
“The PS4, for instance, has a larger and faster graphics processing unit than the Xbox One (its peak GPU shader throughput hits 1.84 teraflops per second while the Xbox One manages 1.31). Likewise, Sony's console has more advanced RAM (5500MHz GDDR5 versus the Xbox One's 2133MHz DDR3)” (Leaño). This allows the PS4 to run the games at just a hair higher quality. Not a big deal overall as the difference is not noticeable unless you put them side by side. On top of that, the One has a far more intuitive Operating System (OS) than the PS4. The OS on the One allows it to run apps in the background or use the snap feature on most apps to have it alongside your game or current window. How is this useful? First of all, you can use the snap feature to watch your favorite shows or have a GameFAQs page open on the side. Want to Skype your friends or play music in the background? No problem, because the Xbox can multitask and will leave those apps running back there! Your multitasking options are wide open and simpler than ever now that you can do it all without leaving the
So I’ve been comparing the Xbox One and Playstation 4. It is usually quite a task to compare consoles, since sometimes it is usually the player’s choice for which console they like. But sometimes there can be little things that bug people. Even smaller things. But sometimes certain things are what some people go to the console for.
First Xbox, let’s look at the design and user interface. The Xbox is huge way bigger than the PS4. On the top half of the the console is a vent which means if you want to put something on top of it forget about it. Towards the backside of the Xbox is three USB ports, but only two are for controllers. The controller ports are in the back are very awkward because there usually in the front. The Xbox runs off a Windows 10 UI (User Interface) which makes the home screen more complex and harder to find things but very nice looking. Now let’s look at the exclusive titles for the Xbox. Some titles include Halo, Gears of War, Titanfall, and Sunset Overdrive. These titles are huge but since the Xbox runs off of a windows 10 UI that means some games can also be played on the PC.
The release of the next-generation gaming consoles has left the gaming industry is in frenzy. With so much demand for the consoles it feels as though people are ready to give away their legs to get either the PlayStation 4 or the X-Box One. With two of these monstrous gaming devices available, the decision to just choose just one console seems to be, for some, a life and death decision. Many people, as a result of not conducting the proper research, fail to realize how easy of a decision this is. In this much anticipated console race, the PlayStation 4 has a clear advantage over the X-box One and as a result, it is the console that consumers should look to buy.
The X is the perfect combination of power, size, versatility, and UI intelligence. As different games are released, we can rest assured that the X will be able to support as well as enhance it with its added features. The smooth engine and incredible speed allows the user to experience games, apps, and movies better than ever before. This is a testament of why the X is superior console in comparison to the PS4Pro. The Xbox One X has a better operating system, gaming Microsoft Xbox One X/PlayStation 4 Pro 8 subscription services, versatile features, and connected community features.
predecessors both in performance and in graphics. And just over 3 years ago, Sony introduced a new console to its line, the PlayStation 4. Console gaming, it's a pretty big topic, with many things that are different and similar about them. Techy people around the nation look at these specific specs of these consoles and their compatibility. I will be going over all the similarities and differences between the PS4 and the Xbox one. Although Sony has sold twice the amount I believe the Xbox one has better features than the PS4. People really like to show and pick which company is the clear winner in the battle of console gaming. I will speculate on features, graphics, design, price, and controller design as well. I will compare the obvious things that are in both consoles such as graphic cards and what games they can run and play. In terms of the product itself, Xbox One has many features that it can use to its advantage in distinguishing itself from other gaming systems, as well aiding its ability to attract many customers. For example, the Xbox has many apps such as Netflix, Google, and ESPN, which the console owner can use whenever they want (even during the middle of a gaming session). Cable and Satellite television services can even be connected through the Xbox in order to enhance the consumers’ experiences and to create an all in one system.
