Console gaming, it's a pretty big topic, with many things that are different and similar about them. Techy people around the nation look at these specific specs of these consoles and their compatibility. I will be going over all the similarities and differences between the PS4 and the Xbox one. Although Sony has sold twice the amount I believe the Xbox one has better features than the PS4. People really like to show and pick which company is the clear winner in the battle of console gaming. I will speculate on features, graphics, design, price, and controller design as well. I will compare the obvious things that are in both consoles such as graphic cards and what games they can run and play. Looking at the different graphics, designs, and other features, it’s easily seen how the Xbox one is greater in comparison to the PS4.
Now to start comparing these beasts of consoles, and start providing the real deal facts. So first off we have design and overall structure, the Xbox one and PS4 both look pretty slim, and both measure in 10 inches for length. Both consoles have a standard 500 gb hard drive and they also have 1TB variants for purchase. Ports on the back all match up for the most part, both come with usb ports and HDMI, and the usual power ports so one can turn the

But comparison wise the PS4 is better graphics in the fact that the processor is better. Now with that being said many still do side with the Xbox one, it really does have a lot of unique features that the PS4 does not have. But if I had to choose which is really better it would have to be the PS4. These consoles made a difference in the world since day one when they were announced. They were the first next gen consoles since 2008 when the Xbox 360 and the PS3 came out. They allowed game developers to do more with their game engineering, and inspire gamers across the nation to choose their side, what will you
Right now, it looks like PS4 is the most powerful console, but developers may well learn to exploit the Xbox One in new ways. It's unlikely you'll be making your buying decision on hardware specifications alone.
In this article, the author, Natalie Shoemaker, goes over the technical specifications of a PlayStation 4 and an Xbox One respectively. After listing the specifications, she offers a list of specifications of a personal computer that competes against both of these consoles in regards of performance. The price of this computer is also not that much more expensive than a gaming console. Shoemaker also confirms Ashraf Eassa’s assessment of cost comparison and secondary usage. Overall, the article will allow me to put performance of the competing consoles and PC’s into perspective and show that PC’s have the upper
The interface for the Xbox one is excellent because of how organised it is. On the Xbox you can easily find your games, social media, and the store. The Xbox one when you go from one app to another you hear a nice calm whooshing sound that isn’t annoying or can get stuck in your head. That is the exact opposite with the Playstation the sound is a bloop it is very annoying and it can get stuck in your head. Another great feature is the keyboard on the Xbox one it is very easy access. The keyboard on
“The PS4, for instance, has a larger and faster graphics processing unit than the Xbox One (its peak GPU shader throughput hits 1.84 teraflops per second while the Xbox One manages 1.31). Likewise, Sony's console has more advanced RAM (5500MHz GDDR5 versus the Xbox One's 2133MHz DDR3)” (Leaño). This allows the PS4 to run the games at just a hair higher quality. Not a big deal overall as the difference is not noticeable unless you put them side by side. On top of that, the One has a far more intuitive Operating System (OS) than the PS4. The OS on the One allows it to run apps in the background or use the snap feature on most apps to have it alongside your game or current window. How is this useful? First of all, you can use the snap feature to watch your favorite shows or have a GameFAQs page open on the side. Want to Skype your friends or play music in the background? No problem, because the Xbox can multitask and will leave those apps running back there! Your multitasking options are wide open and simpler than ever now that you can do it all without leaving the
So I’ve been comparing the Xbox One and Playstation 4. It is usually quite a task to compare consoles, since sometimes it is usually the player’s choice for which console they like. But sometimes there can be little things that bug people. Even smaller things. But sometimes certain things are what some people go to the console for.
The PS4 is much thinner and looks better than an Xbox One. I mean really who wants a huge gaming system anyways? Unlike the Xbox One the PS4 has the cooling vent on the back of the system, so if you need to anything on it you could without overheating it. Also unlike the Xbox the PS4’s USB ports are in the front like a normal gaming console. Now for the PS4’s UI, it’s a whole lot simpler and to me it’s much neater. The user interface has to distinct sections, lower half of the UI is the main menu where you can access recently used apps and games, the upper half is used for the systems tools and
The PS4 is obviously better than the xbox one the graphics we have the Playstation VR, and we have a gamepad on the controller with a camera so u can play even better. PS4 obviously beats the xbox
The standard console includes a five-hundred gigabyte hard drive. A hard drive with that capacity is more than enough storage space for any average gamer or family. The Xbox One also includes a built in DVD and Blu-Ray player for any movie one may want to watch. The Kinect, which is included with the purchase of a standard console, is a vital element to the Xbox One’s success. The Kinect is a piece of hardware that has a built in camera and microphone.
One reason that the PlayStation 4 is better than the Xbox 1 is that the PlayStation 4 has better graphic quality. according to a study conducted by the professional gaming company IGN the PlayStation 4 matches the Xbox ones fps (
Here are some upsides to Xbox One. One is that it has one of the most popular console games in the world, Roblox, which PS4 doesn't. Xbox usually is sold for a cheaper price. The bigger size of the xbox also helps it be less likely to overheat. These are some of the many differences of the PS4 and Xbox One.
Both gaming consoles have online access. Once online you can stream videos, download more games, or even play with others over the web. The consoles also allow you to watch films in disc form, for the Xbox 360 this is in the form of DVD, the PlayStation 3 in Blu-Ray. Game selection with both products is grand. Variation within the consoles do exist, as there are system exclusive games, however the systems tend to have very similar games, as they share gaming producers, both companies wanting to make a fair amount of money would not mind the resemblance of their games. Both systems also include a motion detecting
Equally the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One are home video game consoles. The PlayStation 4 was developed by Sony Computer Entertainment while Microsoft developed the Xbox One. These two consoles, as well as the Nintendo Wii U, are part of the eighth generation of video game consoles. The differences that could be discussed between this two consoles are the costs, the internal storage, and the changes made to the controllers.
