In this essay I'm going to be comparing and Contrasting between the site visit to the elementary and to the preschool. For the preschoolers I was working with mainly three year olds most of the time. At the preschool I got to watch them play with other kids in the preschool. Also I got to play with them in the gym and we played ball and other games. Working with this age group was easy for me because I babysit this age group but it gave me more experiment to work with this age group. At the elementary the ages are between six to seven years old. At the elementary I listened to them read, played a game called pop. At the last site visit we helped them get ready for their play and finish other class work. I liked working with this age group
For the classroom observation assignment I was able to observe at Stepping Stones Family Childcare and Preschool Program. I conducted observations for five hours each on the dates of September 24th and September 25th of the year 2015. This licensed home-based daycare and preschool program is located in a quiet suburban neighborhood on 4103 Bryant Street, Blasdell, New York. The facility allows for a twelve-child capacity (ages 6 weeks to 12 years with four additional school age) and is owned and founded by Kim Bannister. When I observed, there were two additional staff present. Therefore, there were a total of 3 adults and 12 children at the center when I observed. New York State Senator Marc C. Panepinto was also present on September 25th as he read to the children and toured the home. I chose this specific setting as I personally thought it would be an interesting dynamic to study how a home-based preschool program is run.
The place I observed was the Infant Development Program in their preschool program called Stepping Stones Preschool in Lock Haven, PA. I observed in one of their three to five year old preschool programs that is held on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons from 11:30am to 2:30pm. This particular classroom had two head teachers; Mrs. Kate and Mrs. Lisa. The teacher call their students Owls this is because their class name is Owls. When they want to get the kids to listen to them or they want to get their attention a teacher will say “Owls Owls Whoo Whoo” and the kids will say “Owls Owls Whoo Whoo”. Another thing the teachers will also refer to the students as friends. In this classroom there was four boys and four girls. I observed two

For the Kidwatching Project Part 1, I found myself interviewing a few students on the concept of multiplication and division. According to Merriam-Webster Dictionary, multiplication is defined as the process of adding a number to itself a certain number of times: the act or process of multiplying numbers. Merriam-Webster Dictionary also defines Division to be the act or process of dividing something into parts: the way that something is divided (Merriam-Webster, 2015). Multiplication and Division is a subject that many different students in early ages can grasp or struggle with because the concept of using different ways to approach these particular problems. For main topic I chose, "Honduras VS Puerto Rico". As I was comparing and contrasting the two countries, I decided to make it like if the countries where going against each other. I thought when comparing and contrasting something is like two sport team in a game that ends up with a tied score, you can find good things and bad thing they both did during the game but final score is a tied. And that was my intention on the essay.
There are many similar and different things in Middle School: The Worst Years of My LIfe and Alice: Through The Looking Glass. Many things about the story that can be compared and contrasted, including theme, plot, conflict, etc. I will be comparing and contrasting three story elements. The three I will be doing is theme, conflict, and feelings throughout the movies. Both movies were easy to analysis so I could type this essay. I will be compare and contrasting Middle School:The Worst Years of My Life directed by Steve Carr to Alice:Through The Looking Glass directed by James Bobin. Conflict is the first element. Both movies have one type of conflict in common. That conflict is “man-v-man”, both movies have a character fighting/going against another character for something
