From the West coast to the East coast, I am proud to present one of my favorite dishes from the deepest parts of the South. What happens when your southern parents visit Korea for a year? Well, let me tell you sushi will never be the same. My Dad created this dish years ago during an argument between the family about always eating the same thing. Thus, “Redneck Sushi” was born. It consists of prepping the food, creating the rolls, and smoking the dish.
Redneck Sushi
What you’ll need:
1 pound Hamburger meat 1 pound Sausage
1 pound bacon Garlic Salt
Black pepper Salt
1 package of String cheese 1 large onions
Your choice of barbecue sauce Hot Sauce of your choosing First, gather all your materials in a central area. In addition, you will need to start defrosting the Hamburger, Sausage, and Bacon. I prefer to defrost them in the microwave for about fifteen minutes but you can defrost them however you’d like to. Nevertheless, make sure to just defrost the meat and not cook it or it will be difficult later on. While the meats are defrosting, find a cutting board, one large bowl (set aside), a decently sharp knife, and a large container to place the sushi into once it is prepared. Now you will need to start your smoker, set the temperature for around two hundred degrees.
Now let’s begin chopping the onions into finely diced pieces. When the meat is defrosted find the large
Add meat and vegetables with Creole seasoning, sea salt, Worcestershire sauce, Liquid Smoke and ground chipotle. Stir to combine thoroughly.
Fellow classmates, it has come to my attention that something your country is lacking in the fast food department is free guacamole at Chipotle. I realized this the other night when I went to this popular establishment within my community and ordered my usual: a chicken bowl. Tonight was a little different than most, because I was traveling on a whim due to the insufferable hunger that erupted in my stomach. As I was choosing the ingredients I wanted on my bowl, I kept in mind that I was a broke teenager with only 8 dollars in my pocket. Something I have known since the beginning of going to Chipotle is that if you want guacamole on your food, it's an extra $1.50. Even if I really wanted guac on my bowl that night, I wasn’t able to get it because of my shortage of money.
First, interesting choice for gaining your audience’s attention. Creatures emerging from the sea giving your viewers a vivid description of a red tide. Next, awesome transition through the main points. It was clearly outlined allowing one to see how each point relates to the next.
Who would have ever thought a small amount of rice with raw fish on top of it would become so popular across the world? Sushi’s fame jumped an ocean across and became popular in the USA. Many factors contributed to its popularization and has helped make its place in the American cuisine. As time passed by, the simple creations of sushi evolved to complicated combinations and eye catching presentations today. This change was welcomed because it gave a new perspective of the dish, giving it a new face.
Knock, knock, knock! Billy Bob Jackson Jr. trudged to the door after a long day
What if you had no water to bathe, wash dishes, or even drink? This is the future we face here in California if the state doesn’t act to conserve our water and ensure that it is wasted as little as possible. California is in its 3rd year of a debilitating drought, and many citizens, especially farmers are dangerously tapping more into an nonrenewable resource: groundwater. In light of the severity of current and future problems that have or will result from the depletion of the fast-emptying subterranean reserves of water, California’s Legislature has introduced a new bill designed to limit and control the use of groundwater, a decision that all other western states have already made. I believe that this new bill is necessary to prevent California

On Wednesday night I was flipping through the channels and came to a stark realization that New Year’s Eve is about five weeks away. If you are more of a numbers person, that’s technically only 38 days away. Scary, eh? It seems like time is moving faster than ever! So what made me think of this? I was watching an old “Star Trek” movie and admiring the 40 Acres studio lot. It’s not there anymore, but the time machine used on this episode had me wishing I could go back a few months and change a few things. I guess I should forget the time machine idea and start working on my goals for 2017.
Any little child is able to connect the name Shamu to the massive black and white creatures that dwell in the ocean waters, termed orcas or killer whales. However, the recent release of the film “Blackfish” has aimed to revise the common opinion of killer whales who are known by the title Shamu. As the film strikes marine life parks such as SeaWorld with apparent reasons as to why these orcas should not be in captivity, the question of “Blackfish”’s validity arises. How truthful can a film be that was created to persuade its viewers to ceases visiting attractions such as the killer whale shows?
