@Bold [above] I agree with your comment, but. I feel you left some facts out. 1.) The {so called} health care we now "enjoy" was conceived by the U.S. Senate, comprised of 58 democrats, 2 independents, one a life long Socialist, and the other one a life long democrat. 2.) Of the 60 members who contrived this thing, we now call "Obamacare," 34 were lawyers, {one was the "Grand" what-ever of the KKK} " that way Pelosi said {you have to pass it, before you can read it}one was and is a socialist, and the real kicker is, one was and is a "comedian." Most of the other 24 are life long feeder at the public trough. Of the 60, not one was a Doctor, At that time, the only doctors in the senate were republicans. And we know that they were excluded from the debate. …show more content…
lawyers, insurance companies, bankers, unions, members of the house and senate and any and all of the feeders at the public trough. So now we have to pay Obama and his merry band of comedian, socialists and public feeders as his special interest gang, laughs all the way to the
Where would you rather live, the United States or Qatar? Easy, United States, but what if you had the choice between the United States or Qatar, but if you chose Qatar you will be given five million dollars and you only had to be there for 3 weeks. Okay, most of you reasonable people would choose Qatar, and I would imagine most of you would do it for the money. FIFA or the International Federation of Associated Football (Soccer) was bribed into making that same decision over the 2022 World Cup (Berlin), which is without a doubt the most watched and visited sporting event in the world, and now it will be witness in one of the smallest and hottest countries in the world. Now this raises the question on how these very prominent issues such as corruption (Berlin), Doping (Drepper), Money Laundering (FBI 24 Years Bribery and Corruption), the Violations of Basic Human Rights

Individuals in United State think their healthcare is the excellent one in the word. Regardless, it has major limitations that are becoming more and more visible. One major current issue being debated about American healthcare is either Affordable Care Act “Obamacare” should be repeal or replace. This has been an issue that the general citizens of America are looking forward to hearing its possible outcome.”Obamacare” is United State healthcare reform laws that control government deficit through laws and taxes. The objective is to ensure citizens of America has a reasonably priced health insurance,
For the past several months, the news feeds have been full of stories on Obamacare, more accurately described as The Affordable Care Act. The Affordable Care Act is the largest mandated healthcare change in the United States since Medicare and Medicaid began in 1965 (Mayer, 2013). It was signed into Law in 2010 designed to give all Americans access to healthcare. Whether you are for or against The Affordable Care Act one thing is above dispute, it has caused a Nationwide uproar. Now that we are in a new Presidential era, steps are being taken to “Repeal and Replace” Obamacare.
During a campaign speech in 1776, then candidate Ronald Reagan gave an image to the world, the “Welfare Queen.” A fictitious woman who ardently abused the welfare system and wasted taxpayer money. He used this image to begin his battle for dismantling the welfare system, and even after his death in 2004, this idea he put into the U.S. mindset still exists. That those on welfare abuse the system, are addicted to drugs, and don’t deserve the help given to them. As of 2015, 43.1 million people lived below the poverty line in the U.S., according to the U.S. Census Bureau, and in the U.S., terms like “poverty”, “welfare”, and “poor”, still seem to be pretty negatively charged.
Introduction Welfare in the United States began in the 1930’s during the great depression, in order to respond to the alarming number of families needing aid. Welfare gave money to the families or individuals with an income of little to nothing. When hearing about welfare, it sounds like a great idea, but with all great things comes people who take advantage of them. Through my research I have learned of the many ways that people have abused the system, and today I am here to propose a solution to one of the ways I believe we can stop this abuse.
Health insurance is an important part of today’s society, and each person is a stockholder. Not only is each person susceptible to sickness and disease, but each working individual holds a part in the public’s health insurance situation. Because of the Affordable Care Act (2010), also referred to as Obamacare, Americans are required to not only be insured, but also face the consequence of paying a fine if one is uninsured. By mandating health insurance for the pubic, an abundance of people in poverty are advised to take advantage of the governmental system that supports people in poverty- Medicaid. As of 2016, 17.6 million Americans who were previously uninsured are now covered. According to the Kaiser Family Foundation, “Over 14 million more
Health, an issue that is timeless for any generation at any point in history. Some of great epidemics that have impacted history are the bubonic plague, ebola, the swine flu and the zika virus Here on United States soil, there many illnesses that affect our population, such as cancer, Hepatitis C, Shingles, Diabetes, tuberculosis, STDs, etc. Unfortunately, our government will intervene with other countries with medical aid, but they decide to make it harder for our citizens to receive the attention needed. Until 2010, when President Obama passed the affordable healthcare act(Obamacare). Majority of U.S. residents agree that, under this act; it has become more affordable to have health insurance. This has created lower prices for the care plans, and in turn lower income household are able to afford them. According to survey done by Gallup-Healthways Well-Being index, to show how many adults now have coverage, 90 percent of adults have received or been able to sign up for affordable healthcare act. In the
The Affordable Care Act has already reduced copayments for Medicare patients and it will increase the number of people covered for prescription drugs. By making drugs more
We spoke before about the upcoming election, since then however, things have gotten quite a bit crazier between the two primary candidates. While we talked about letting employees vote during work, and about how discrimination can include political parties, we haven’t talked about the aftermath of the election. Both candidates are talking about big changes, and they might directly or indirectly impact your business. What are these promises and why should you take note of them? The two main reasons is there is talk about Obamacare, which many know as the Affordable Care Act, which could bring subtitle to drastic changes to it. There is also talk about making college affordable for students without them going a lifetime in debt. While education
Attention Getter) Imagine you are at school and someone calls you saying a family member just had an accident, but there are no doctors to attend her or him. What would you think in that moment? Or what would you do? You are losing someone and no one can help. I would definitely feel devastated, hopeless, scared, sad, almost even useless. Horrible right? Well there are people around the world that face situations like those very often. Many people in the lower class do not have any sort of medical care due to their economic situation. Do you see how not having access to medical care can be dangerous, that is why if we want to fix it, we must focus on its current status and statistics, moral and ethical problems, the solution and the benefits of fixing this problem.
As of now, many Americans have problems with their health care and the two political parties, the Republicans and the Democrats, are split on the issue. The past president, Barrack Obama, enacted the Patient Protection and the Affordable Care Act, commonly called Obamacare, on May 23rd, 2010.
Have you ever thought about how many people in the world suffer from diseases but can’t afford to be taken care of? 45,000 people die annually in the U.S. alone because of their lack of healthcare. Well, with universal healthcare, this can definitely help change this all around. I am able to inform you on this possible implementation because I have done extensive research through study of political stand points and geographically for a prior research assignment as well as knowledge from the media and government on this topic. With this plan in action, people all around the country don’t have to suffer from disease simply because they are poor. I will tell you all about our current healthcare system and why it needs to change, what universal
I am sure that everyone of you have heard about aliens and UFOs. Indeed, we all have heard about the famous case of aliens and UFOs in Roswell, New Mexico. Most people might be interested in the topic of aliens, but I know that the majority of you just think of it as rumours and the existence of them are impossible. Therefore, I am standing here in front all of you to make you change your perspective. I am strongly confident that I have found the evidence of their real existence to convince all of you.
For example, using a leftover coffee can for loose nails or screws, or even washing and reusing a plastic zip-loc bag instead of throwing it in the garbage. Thrift shopping is a way of reusing someone else’s unwanted goods. As I spoke about in an earlier speech about thrifting, I included many locations and ways to thrift, also the benefits to the shopper and the donator. One place in particular was shopping at the local boys and girls club. I personally shop there, keeping my eyes open for a good deal. For example, the pair of jeans that I am wearing today was purchased from this store just a few months ago. I paid only $8.00 for this pair of Lucky Jeans and according to buckle.com, a retailer for lucky jeans the retail price is $99.00 that is a savings to me of $91.00.I am not the type to worry about name brands, but quality usually does cost more. If I can get a quality pair of jeans at a fraction on the price, I am glad to shop at the thrift store. I am thankful to the person that made the donation of the lucky jeans and they can benefit from that donation. According to the IRS webpage, IRS. Gov it explains that an individual can donate items like clothing, household furniture and furnishings, a car or boat, even taxidermy. The donations are appraised, by the donator, and recorded. At the time of filing taxes if the donation equals at least $500 for the year, the donator may take advantage of the
