There has been a lot of talk about mars. Out of all the potential options, most have settled that mars is the best for humans. The enthused Frank Stratford, in an article, says, “let’s do this thing…Let’s approach this with the benefits of six decades of spaceflight, push through the costs and in one risky megaproject of settling Mars, reach to the benefits of advancing… so that we and future generations can grow from our new discoveries on Mars.” Indeed, Despite inherent risk, colonizing mars is both a priority and a goal for the advancement of our species. First of all, we need to go to mars because there is less and less hope for our current planet, earth, due to our huge problem of overpopulation, creating problems in our daily lives. Our ridiculous population of nearly 7.5 billion is starting to dawn on us as a problem. everyday those billions of people need food, water, and shelter. Population increase seems to have no sign of stabilizing. To illustrate, Worldometer states, “During the 20th century alone, the population in the world has grown from …show more content…
There being life on mars means more will be on board for sending people up there, considering that other life forms can survive. So if we find life, our dreams can be attained much easier with growing backing. Discovering life, will completely change our view of our planet and the life that exists in it. After knowing that there life on mars, we can assume that there could be life on the tons of other planets in our infinite
For many years people have wondered what could happen if humans lived on another planet. In recent years the technology to achieve this has been getting closer and closer. It has been predicted that humans could be on Mars by the year 2030 (Knapton NP). But should people even bother attempting to go to another planet? What would be gained by this? Is there a good reason to go? Although some may question the justification of going to Mars, humans should colonize Mars for the benefit of all people.
In conclusion, colonizing Mars is a terrible idea There is no known natural source of water, Once you get there you cannot come back , and If you get sick, the astronauts
Richard, an author for the website GOVTEEN Global Community, wrote an article briefly explaining why we as a nation, should not go to Mars. Some of the key points of his argument against going to Mars stressed that the financial cost would be too high, it would require several new spacecraft and ground habitats, and several new technologies that currently do not exist. He also was concerned about the budget cuts that have already stripped the National Aeronautical Space Administration (NASA) to a shell of what the space program used to be. He also stressed that we are still in an armed conflict that has put a strain on our nation, economically and emotionally.
Most of the mistakes made on Earth would not be repeated again on Mars. Mars should be colonized, as with the Moon. Inhabiting giant asteroids, other planets and moons and space stations in constant orbit around planets and moons would help solve the problem of overcrowding and world hunger. While it'll be extremely risky, expensive and take many years, but colonizing Mars will be a major factor in the long run. They are almost certain that it will happen eventually if all goes well, and I'm at least sure that it is possible. Space exploration is getting better and cheaper all the time. We still have to develop a lot of technology to be in a position where it is actually possible. Once we are at that stage, it will be relatively easy to go on and colonize the rest of the planets and moons within this solar system. Hopefully one day this will lead us to a point where we can move on to other solar systems and allow our evolutionary chain to expand and continue throughout the Universe. Earth will not be around forever. The main advantage to colonizing Mars is that we, as a species, we will survive the end of the world on Earth. The surface area of Mars is the same as the land area of Earth so that is a doubling of the available land for human use. Physical strength might well be reduced, but in a lower gravity environment, there will be less day to day stress on your body, so your organs should
They have found that there might have been life on Mars at one point and there might still be little bits of life. All they have found so far is evidence of little tiny organisms and bacteria that were once on the surface.
The topic of going to mars is highly discussed among scholars and ordinary people due to the reason that it is believed that Mars can support human life. Due to the fact, that global warming is on the rise has caused many scientists to believe that eventually the earth’s ecosystem will plummet, making life on earth for humans impossible. Many scientists argue that extra research on mars is needed due to the fact that the human race would eventually be forced to migrate outside of earth, if there is to be a continuation of the human race. However, the funding for such research is immense as it is, and it is projected that this “budget will increase by 20% by the government within the next few years.” This astounding increase in budget, has led to many uncertainties as to why the government funds such an expensive research for humans to leave earth when that money could be spent on the problems relating to global warming. Here on earth it is a fact that global warming is a serious issue regarding the future of the planet. Therefore, the government funds should be allocated to research ways to emit less carbon dioxide or to try and find cleaner and safer ways to create energy for the growing human population. Another reason to stop funding the research and exploration of mars is that most space exploration is caused by human curiosity. Human curiosity has led multi-million dollar institutions like NASA to explore the deep wonders of the world and discover new technologies which changed the world. Despite, the curiosity and the technologies that exploring the universe has brought, this interest is extremely expensive and time consuming. At times the curiosity led space exploration projects were made to look like a patriotic act due to political reasons. As a result, these projects were believed to be well-worth spent since it brought great
NASA should send people to mars. It would not be as dangerous as people make it; it will be as safe as possible. If we do send people to mars, then our kind can live longer and we can make new discoveries. If we don’t send people to Mars then our kind would most likely die off and we would not make as many discoveries. Going to mars doesn't have to be a dream
When scientists colonize mars it will give people the opportunity to find ice underground, it well inspire so many people, and it will allow mankind another place to live. People are ready to go to mars for things the Earth needs. It will be a expensive trip but scientists can do
People are going to colonize Mars! Colonizing Mars is a great idea because of NASA technology, Mars resources, and human capabilities.
The NASA space program has had enormous impacts on the world. Thanks to NASA the United States has explored thousands of celestial bodies throughout the galaxy with telescopes, rovers, and in the moon 's case, people. In the next decade, NASA plans to expand the United State’s human exploration to more than just the moon. A Mars mission has been in NASA’s eye for quite a while now and with technology advancing every day, they feel it is time to send men and women to the red planet. Some believe the journey could prove too dangerous for humans; however, through research and development scientists can find ways to safely transport astronauts to and from Mars. This is a necessary step in the country 's advancements in health, technology and
Colonizing Mars would not only be a scientific breakthrough, but it would be extremely beneficial to the human race and their future. Mars would help humans in many ways by providing a planet for humans to fall back on if any bad event were to happen to Earth. Colonizing Mars would prove to be very helpful and rewarding. Also, many engineers and scientists like Elon Musk, founder of Space x and Tesla, are on board are on board with this futuristic idea.
The Expedition of the mars Rovers are nice , They gather a bunch of evidence on how mars could possibly be hospitable NASA's current mission to send an astronaut to Mars is driven by development of the Orion crew exploration vehicle. The capsule spacecraft is being designed to take humans back to the moon by 2020. In later years, by rendezvous with Mars-bound vehicles assembled in orbit, it may take the first humans to the Red Planet.
Humans have always been interested in the idea of exploring space. the scientists, astronauts and researchers have spent decades looking for life on other planets. Mars is the most favorable place in the solar system, other than Earth, for human habitation. It is also the closest planet to Earth. Even though some researchers claim that exploring Mars will help us to understand the Earth better, and a manned mission to Mars is better for humanity, opposing sending a manned mission to Mars for these reasons: because the cost of the exportation is not worth the risk involved. this exploration will have a negative effect on Americans. Mars exploration should be halted because of the cost to the economy, the risk to society and the lack
If we were to go to Mars the progression of technology that would be made and the astronomical research available would greatly benefit humanity, the future, and our planet (The Mars Society). Humanity would be greatly benefited if we were to go to Mars because if there is evidence of life separate from ours this would be a the greatest scientific discovery for a very long time (National Center for Biotechnology Information). The future would also be benefited for if we could colonize another planet and this would create hope to spread humanity across the entire galaxy. If humans were to step foot on and study Mars, our planet, Earth, would be benefited. It has been scientifically proved that Earth is slowly being heated through global warming; however, research on Mars might provide highly helpful information for Mars is the planet in our solar system that is the most similar to Earth (American Museum of Natural History).
Do you really want to risk your life and everything in your life just to colonize to Mars? Nobody should ever colonize to Mars. There’s no drinkable water. Lots of money is being wasted on colonizing. Also, people can never come back to Earth.
